Basically I am also from this area (Village name is Tolma),, you have to visit there when u were visiting niti,dronagirii,and others these places... Tolma is a place which the famous for lots of Ayurvedic herbs ie. Faran,zera, kutki,atis and other lots of Ayurvedic herbs

SreeVidhya Bharadwaj All gram devi festivals are fertility rites. I am not generalising it but just to give an overview shakti puja traces origins back to antiquity and has been integral part of our culture. Anything that is created in nature is undetstood in an agorithmic way for ones who can imbibe the tantra and for others passed down as traditions to maintain its integrity, As one travels through india remote Villages himalayas one can understand these patterns
