Levan is such a quietly powerful dude. He just struggles to hype himself for theatrics because it's not his humble nature. Devon is the consummate ambassador, bombastic entertainer and promoter of the sport. Arm wrestling has room for all talents and types.
Devon is by no means an ambassador for armwrestling. He's surely a showman but his antics are damaging the sport and make the kids in the community more stupid.
He is doing it in Georgian because it's easier to be articulate and funny, but of course with your sub 80iq you cannot comprehend this. While he is conversational in English he is FAR from fluent, and it is much easier to trash talk in your national language.
I was completely fine with everything that happened except taking Devon's belt. That was too much and disrespectful. Devon never touches his opponents' belts before the match
Now we all understand why genadi is sitting next to levan.that's the reason why levan has gained kilos, not loose them as he was trying.guess what...they both are expecting a baby🤭so sweet couple
Though the translator normally does a great job... But apparently here.... He was loving the to and fro between devon and levan.... He was getting excited while translating for levan hence the f up and not being able to comprehend.....translating a heated exchange is like makin a video of an amazing hyped moment.. but your hands have got to be steady (if you have no image stabilization) to get an optimum result
He’s a jealous little troll who’s all talk. The fact that he and his fans think he one his match against Devon in dominating fashion is hilarious. I mean he just barely escaped getting swept and was let off the hook by referring. But he took advantage of that given opportunity so good for him. But that still doesn’t excuse the fact that he lost to JERRY! 😂
@@iliketocomment8144oh someone is hurt that devon lost from genadi 😂😂 he pinned your boy baaaam match ended as genadi the victor that day his hand was raised not devon 😂😂😂
@@iliketocomment8144 Genadi is definitely not all talk as he was one of the best arm wrestlers in the world before his injury. The disrespect is real, you probably can't even do 10 pullups little soyman. I like Devon, but his fanboys like you give the sport a sour taste, so take your trash attitude somewhere else.
To be honest, I like the wholesome comradery at dinner more than this stuff. There's a level of tension above sporting trash talk here that I'm not sure is appropriate. I am amped for this one!
I agree, what makes armwrestling fascinating is the honesty in some interviews, the sharing of information and training methods, in short the openness of the community of athletes. This sort of aggressive trash talking is humiliatin and off putting.
The Georgian’s wouldn’t open their gift because they’re poor sports. Which made things more uncomfortable than the hand to hand combat Genadi and Levan were playing underneath the table amongst other things they were doing underneath there.
Where are the Levan fans crying about Devon trash talking and Saying Levan is the most respectful , kind , humble guy😂😂😂. Accept it poor delusional Levan fans
Travis said it best ”These guys are not good at trash talking.”Can we get a better translator while we’re at it? “You will be crush. 😐” Devon is so intense. The little Georgian trio is not meeting him in the middle. No emotion. “😑 I very beat you and happy I am will be.”
I disagree, in the WWE the trash talking can be fun because we all know it's all an act, pure entertainment, but here it sounds genuinely aggressive and stupid.
blud can speak english and understand devon fine but was so scared he forgot how to speak the language. Acted like a baby the whole conference, should have put that baby soother in his mouth
@@user-pb7pr3di8m when you kill someone they usually don’t come back alive to die again. So yeah RIP only happens once in a life time. Ofcourse you could resuscitate someone from dying or being dead momentarily but that’s Ofcourse extended circumstances. But in terms of life and death, there is only one death.
People who hate on Devon because he is talks trash must hate Arm Wrestling and don’t want to see the sport grow. Devon is a showman and bring eyeballs to the sport. Eyeballs equals $$. The sport needs more characters like Devon and if there comes a time where there are interesting pullers you never know Dana White might start a AWFC
Why then we just coordinate the match results which gives the most $$ and hype? Wouldnt it be a nice story if Devon wins and then there will be THE biggest event at KOTT (in the best-of-three format)? If its only about money and eyeballs, why just not fake it? Maybe they already do? NO? How do you know if its only about eyeballs and money?
@@user-pb7pr3di8m just read your last sentence… Who ever said it was “ONLY” about eyeballs and money?? I can’t have a discussion with someone who put words in peoples mouth. If you don’t understand that’s your problem
@@scuba_steve_954 I hope he doesn’t retire Devon.. Then Arm Wrestling will go back to having events at your local BAR. I’m From Boston and We had a player for one of our professional sports team that everyone hated because he was so great. They called him a cheater and wished he would retire because people were sick of him winning. Devon is experiencing the same thing. Everyone hates a winner. All that being said I do think Levan wins but if Devon can stop him (even for just a second in first round ) he might be able to win the match
@@TstanDa-Man Seemingly you dont understand the concept of extending arguments to the extreme. So basically you dont agree with the extreme form but dont tell us your view on $$ and eyeballs and how much it should be for AW.
unfortunately not the best press conference imo but the match will be amazing. levan didnt say anything about match, it was mainly genadi talking. Devon couldnt say too much since levan was only saying "calm down sit down cald down sit down chicken stop shaking" there was no useful content in this press conference to learn something about the match or something exciting. it was bit silly but i guess not every press conference can be top. cant wait for tomorrow match
@@djo-dji6018 i agree with you but press conference means much more than podcasts. Press conference had 15k live viewers so you gotta have to offer something. Genadi offered more than levan. Levan is supposed to hype the press conference to sell ppv, even tho he doest talk much generally just say anything except "sit down stop shaking chicken"
Jodi is spot on as usual, who cares about Genadi at this point? It's Devon vs Levan. Why is Genadi up there at all talking smack about Devon?? Obviously Devon is not scared of anyone.
Devon is doing this little thing called promotion. Conor McGregor, Muhammad Ali, I’m sure you have heard their names before. If you like Arm Wrestling and want to see the guys make more money than you might want to change your attitude towards trash talking
@@pgood7266 hes forcing too much, what does have more views press conference or the actuall fights?! You know the answer, people enjoy the technical / strenght side of the game , this is secondory
@@AfrikanGod1 if these tactics didn’t work they wouldn’t be used in boxing, ufc, wwe, etc. you may not like what Devon is doing but I promise you it is good for the sport
My East vs West 12 Prediction ⬇️ Devon Ermes Michael Todd Georgi Samushia Leonidas Fia Mindaugas Jablonski Sasho Sandris Petro Marharint Talgat Ellsessor Let's see how many are correct ✅
Devon is like Conor McGregor in terms of trash talkin (kinda almost like him....hypin up the sport and all...CM was a better at that though). We all know this was dope but do you see the difference how levan came up first, handed over the diaper (if im not wrong) and took the belt but devon came up to the table, took the belt, came back to his table and went back to throw the pacifier at levan's table. That is where things heated up. I guess as long as its wordplay to some degree, its good but when you start acting a little disrespectful to each other......
We have to understand the cultural difference here, in eastern countries they don't like to talk that much and to give a show, they just want to get the job done
