Lol that's why it's actually hilarious that all those dumbasses always yap about how Devon looks weak and loses in practice vs. random dudes, meanwhile this is what would happen if he actually tried with all of them. Dude has been a #2 and manhandled Ermes and Tsvetkov, it's crazy that someone would even think some of these guys would have any chance vs. him :D
Devon puts himself in a disadvantageous positions and lets them take his wrist in practice. For the practice... For the workout. He had to show him what's up @ 1:05 lol
Sure, but lets hope the second-hand fans (non pullers) don't start believing all those pullers secretly are hidden champions over Devon given that he now is dropped in weight and is getting himself be pinned at these after-pulls. He is training with *them*.
The year is 2060. You show your grandkids the video's of devon vs ermes, prudnik, sandris, georgi and dennis, mmt and some of his wall victories. Then you show how you pin Devon in this video.
It's so rare to see Devon at the after pulls, I hope he participates in the after pull of the next EvW since he will only be the special guest and he will be fresh.
Truly is, once you start reading comments on youtube or any other platform (r/Armwrestling is literally BRAINDEAD), you just get depressed. It's better not to think how many dumbasses you're surrounded with wherever you go.
00:55 a fine example of Devon’s ability to just hold and “act” like he’s struggling when in reality he can just blast guys. But chooses to hold and let them work
It's not "acting", he's just giving them a strong position and holding, as opposed to taking everything and pinning them. Position makes a huge difference in the amount of muscles you have access too, acting is not necessary.
@@wuttehwut exactly as practice is meant to be, people acting like this is somehow devon being weak have probably never armwrestled outside of grade school
Lol devon isn't in training mode..just recovering and having fun...but he looks comfortable dropping all that weight...he will do well in the lighter classes if he decides to come back..
I hope Devon replaces these water fasts, because the calory deficit is so severe, you're inevitably gonna lose a lot of fat AND muscle mass. With a common sense calory deficit of say 500kcal per day, you keep much more of your musclemass, while losing fat slowly, with a proper, high protein diet. A regular cut also improves a ton of blood markers, over a longer time than a hardcore water fast. Devon is a mastermind armwrestler, but nutrition wise, I think he can really use a coach like Lane Norton or someone like that. He's got plenty money for it. Still, I'm just an idiot on the internet :)
0:40 great example what Devon does in these pulls. Lets them get away with murder to put himself in the worst positions. Yes that sometimes leads him to getting pinned or struggling against non-elites. Then he shows what actually happens if he tries to win from the start, because the guy went full try-hard with the press transition too
Devon lost 30-35 lbs really fast.. gonna take him at least a few months of training to gain more strength back and be healthy at this weight. He’s been getting pretty smashed at all of his recent practice pulls I’ve seen.
Exactly the same with everyone. When levan is off people beat him. When morozov was off last year people beat him also. Thats how it works with armwrestlers.
You must have never done any armwresling if you think the dude that is #2 in the world is getting smashed by no names in practice pulls. He literally gives people the best position and just holds and doesn't even try to win. Did you not see him losing at the start and then at 1:10 just blast through him? LMAO. Did you even watch?
Of course he dose. Dadikyan is in competition mode. Devon is off everything and fasting. Wait until Devon is back in peak mode again. Then dadikyan is in trouble.
Fasting that long isn't healthy as he states. It's never healthy to loose that much weight and size. Nothing really good out of it except for cleaning out the system which he also cleaning out the nutrients as well.
Fasting that long not only flushes the system your body creates stem cells naturally. You really think thousands of years ago we ate food everyday? No we didn’t. Fasting every so often is healthy. 5 days isn’t bad.
@@TzeentchLordofChange oh please fasting a few days per month isn’t gonna harm you, it’ll do more good than harm. Eating 5 times a day with snacks in between isn’t natural or healthy also who says being tall is healthy? Being shorter doesn’t mean it’s not “good”.
