You can see that he had and still has the same passion/fire for armwrestling. The guy stayed true to himself over the years. When you truly love something, it's hard to keep it out of your mind. You're constantly thinking about it. Awesome video Engin, thank you for sharing this with us.

This video just reminds of how far sport of armwrestling has become popular thorough the years thanks to the ambassadors and promoters like Devon and Engin.
He's like Bruce Lee of arm wrestling with how he preforms and talks. It's also crazy the 2022 Devon would easily beat that 2012 #1 in the world version.
@@StevenRayW Probaly during his army times. He has incredible stamina and strength. Don't forget many people from the army are minimal as big as current armwrestlers. The american airborne division many people look like morozov over there.
@@StevenRayW like half of the people in the army are using roids. It's better to have more better recovery time and much better reflexes rather than dying in a warzone

Due the growth supplements, in one of his video's he made himself wise he should take to take on heavy weights. Last year he realised the truth. Great guy anyways.
@@mypfpiswhatourphonesees4294 Going heavy on PEDs and over-training is never a good idea for a middle-aged man. He looks about 10 years older than his actual age now. IMO, Brzenk and Hutchings have aged much better.

Great vid, one thing that stands out is that Devon kind of understands that he needs people like Engin, and John etc to build the sport and they need him, its a real team effort. Like a business start up. Well 10 yrs later you're well on your way. Great job!

Devon glossed over his entire military SpeOps career going through his history of arm wrestling. Can't say this man is not humble. In 5 years will be the 15 year mark. Let's see if Devon can keep his word when we'll see his pumpkin arm project fully completed.
Devon is the greatest of all, because of the ability to pass this wonderful sport to everyone he is a superstar, people come to see him especially!! And if we add the ability to win anyone on the table and also sometimes lose (happens rarely) and come back always stronger !! That's the difference between him and everyone really the biggest in this sport
This proves that Engin had his sights set on this major powerhouse promotion like East vs West many years ago..these 2 guys changed Armwrestling in my opinion

even after the popularity of arm wrestling, it stayed true to itself. i miss the good old japan only old ninja warrior days when it wasnt popular and in the west yet
His best point is how it's a combat sport but the peak worst injury is a broken arm. So it's this awesome hybrid of going all out, screaming and adjusting but then you can walk away fine
There's so much valuable points in such a gym from the Archives, honestly I'd say first I'm kind of sad to see how much Devon has aged in these 10+ years i really used to like this guy much more than the personality of today's Devon, and it's crazy to see that even since that time Engin had some vision when it comes to the future of the sport. I really feel delighted to see where's the sport today and specially with East vs West every excellent event. We're truly thankful for everyone who contributed to this and specially to the brilliant mind of Engin which i know Engin doesn't like this kind of words a lot.
@@adnanrawashdeh3965 I actually watch almost all of him. He just is bit more "well behaved" here. Articulation, gestures and so on very similar still now. But he surely learnt a lot in life since then and changed a bit as well.
