There hasn't been a stronger armwrestler in history. Many say that prime Denis was the strongest in history, but Levan would've crushed him too. And like you say, nobody will come close to him for a very long time. Which is kinda sad for the sport

@Scholarofonecandle not sure if you have ever listened to larry wheels or other people talk about the roid use in armwrestling but he said it's higher than any sport including strongman, powerlifting, bodybuilding. Devon is on a bunch of stuff too don't forget that
@@tylerspecht7553No, he was specifically talking about Levan, not about Armwrestling in general. Devon Larratt is proof of that in itself. He's much older and has had much more longevity than Levan can ever hope to have. Nothing wrong with the sacrifices Levan has made to become the best but let's not act like Levan is likely to have as long of a career as Devon or that he's not taking more gear than others.
@somber8233 tbh levan without gear would likely still stomp the floor with devon. He is just flat out a bigger build better genetics. Most the big boy heavyweights are taking copious amounts of stuff so why is levan on a whole other level? He is just flat out better. Keep in mind juiced lifters in powerlifting generally lift about 15-25% more it's not like you 2x your strength with gear. This is the only strength sport where I see people cry about gear use nobody cares in powerlifting nobody cares in strongman nobody cares in Olympic lifting its all just a big cope I'm my opinion. I'm a huge devon fan but all the sour people at his loss is ridiculous its fricken arm wrestling perhaps the least useful form of strength around and people get upset about it lmaoo

Devon did not stop Him Levan stoped because he felt, he would lose wrist and finished round with press, armpower of levan is too much and if he has wrist 100% He is strong in every area.

@@Vengeance_Im Levan clearly has a weakness, and it is his energy, he cannot last long in a fight or else he gets too tired, like Levan vs Gasparini, Levan even needs oxygen and Denis has tremendous Stamina, it would easily tire levan.
@@chrisdaniels3549 Brian Shaw is also pretty old, and while his tendons are really strong from years of strongman, he doesn't have any specifics. If he starts focusing only in AW he could maybe be a top 10 contender in like 5-10 years. But he needs full commitment, and maybe i'm wrong, but i don't think he will fully commit to AW for years, who knows though i don't know the guy personally.
As a Devon fan I heart fully accept the fact that levan defeated Devon and will not yap around other vedios comment sections like some of the commenters did
@@deezelkane Devon did get the hand and wrist set and was in a good position to stop the side pressure. Levan's transition to press ruined Devon's gameplan and it was over. Levan is not only *so* much stronger than everyone else, he's also a strong technical armwrestler and has good table IQ. Nobody has *ever* been as good as Levan and he won't be caught until his body starts to fail him, but Devon far exceeds him pound for pound.

Levan is still way way stronger. it would take Brian a few years of constant arm wrestling training to build up the specific muscles that arm wrestling puts strain on, to be able to even stand a slight chance against Levan. Levan is the strongest on the planet in arm wrestling. There is no one else stronger. Brian would be at risk of tearing something since his muscles are hardened for strongman, explosive maneuvers. He would rip a tendon if he arm wrestles the top elite right now.
Not ACTUALLY his son but yeah, he has ties to Pushkar, don't know if they were that close but Pushkar mentored Levan a little bit and Levan also looked up to Pushkar and his legacy in the Eastern European scene so there's definitely massive respect

I could not believe it. I don't think Ermes in his prime did a proper stop like that when he face Levan. I believe Ermes started to put strain on his joint, whereas Devon here kept Levan in center for the longest I've ever seen. Incredible from Devon. If Devon would've found a way to lose the first few matches while straining Levan, he may have been able to put everything he had AFTER Levan was a little more gassed.
I think if current Levan improves more speed and explosiveness in terms of his sidepressure, then I truly believe no one can stand 5 seconds against Levan.

If you want to know how done Devon was, just watch 5:00 , where he did the todd-move , he wanted to go inside/hook but didnt accomplished 1 mm, so instantly tried outside move. Also he almost fell to the ground, similar to Sabin did.
Devon had my hopes up because of his streak but man levan is really in a different plane of existence. He will remain this dominant for the next 5 yrs.
The category is called Super Heavyweight and if you pull there you know what you are dealing with, so no excuses regarding the weight difference. If you are good, you are good, John Brzenk defeated almost 600 lbs Cleve Dean, almost 3 times John's bodyweight.
@@ysraelzuritasolano708 look man, I know Cleve was a much better athlete than Levan, way heavier and stronger, but I have no one else to compare to.. there are no 600lbs anymore in the super heavyweight division, nowadays everybody is small and weak.

As a Levan fan, Levan isn't unbeatable, but you gotta be as strong as the man and fight like all hell, because Levan was built for armwrestling unlike any other.
Levan actually gassed Devon in round 1. IDK if this was intentional or Levan was just holding back because he was testing his wrist and also trying to avoid injuring Devon. Either way, Devon had absolutely nothing left for rounds 2, 3 and 4. You can see Devon huffing and puffing right after the first round.
Levan said that his wrist wasn't 100% and that he could get injured if he put 100% of his strength, he used that 1 round to warm up his wrist . But Devon really got worn out after the 1st round, he didn't keep the pace
Levan was playing too safe 1st round cuz of his wrist, and didn't go immediately for pin - but because of that Devon got too much purchase on his hand that he couldn't even get a proper grip back. Otherwise Levan's arm felt nothing, he lost his hand and couldn't pronate or cup, but he said using his side pressure was so easy allowing him to get into a press. If he went for the pin the same way as in round 2+, it would've been a flashpin
Let's be honest, Levan showed sportsmanship on the first round. It was like he did that for the fans. I knew he was going to do that before it started. But Devon actually misinterpreted that first round as if he had a chance, Levan was truly was making sport of him but didn't embarrass him when he could have with a flash pin.
No, Levan was struggling a little bit, he was in a bad position, his wrist also wasn't as warmed up as it needed to be, once it got warmed up, Levan crushed him.

This is crazy! It would be great if you could somehow hear better what the two are saying to each other. Especially with Devon. You can clearly see how he is trashtalking and trying to get into his opponents head. But Levan stays solid and continues his game. I love this kind of competitiveness from both sides! Maybe you could put a microphone somehow in the table or at the refs.
