Devon needs some proper sparring partners, hes always giving people too much rope in his training pulls. Training camp in Georgia would make him real strong.
@@valitsemllaluokanavahyvaks3556 it's a difficult balancing act. training with people who push you too hard and threaten an injury is not good. Short very well thought out and strategized camp with these monster-training partners could be beneficial, and there could be lessons learned. But going there willy-nilly without a good strategy sounds risky. Need to map out what you stand out to gain and what the risks are, and then calculating if the risks are worth the benefits. But for Auden, it would definitely be super good, since he stands nothing to lose , while it would give a vision to how his future opponents train and what their mindset is like.
true, no wonder those georgians are so strong. They train with Levan(the shvilis especially). Training with stronger opponents is so beneficial, dont be afraid to lose to your friends folks
@@danilooliveiradasilvaSounds like Devon is slow to adapt to the new game then... if everyone can figure it out that weight is the factor, then you think devon who is 5 times smarter than us in arm wrestling, wouldnt he have figured it out and decide to up his weight? If he cant, whose fault is that?
Maybe, maybe not.... Nobody knows.... maybe Levan beats him when both have the same weight. Devon Fanboys always search for excuses but maybe Levan is the better armwrestler... we will never know
Doesn't work like that, strenght doesn't scale linearly. Ants can carry multiple times their bodyweight.. if they were our size they couldn't. You know nothing about physics
It seams Devon felt something there. It looks like he kinda stopped Levan and fatigued him to the point where maybe he could have transitioned and pinned him (he says: "Yeah, a little more", then sees Levan which was tired and then stopped). Of course it has no relevance as this is just training but that probably ignited Devon's evil laugh
Two dudes who have similar goals: One wants to be the strongest and heaviest arm wrestler ever and another who wants to be the strongest and lightest arm wrestler ever! Both are special and appreciate greatness!
Someone needs to clip that 3:54 laugh into a ringtone or a compilation of Devon beating opponents with that lol
@@ronniemillsapno, I doubt it. If he was scared, he wouldn’t risk armwrestling nor sparring opponents that are obviously stronger. And Devon has proven that he’s clearly not afraid to lose. He’s actually humble, he just intentionally pretends as if he’s all prideful and arrogant for the sake of entertainment.
Levan fans just think that Levan is some high iq sly and conniving dude. Bro, he clearly wasn't fresh that's why he genuinely lost, both the fans and Devon know that Levan would still destroy in an actual match.
Yeah look, I got thise crazy theory, like a loophole for armwrestlers, clearly now ermes beats both vitaly and levan, and Devon beats ermes, vitaly beats devon, ermes beats vitaly, so if vitaly is stronger than levan, or ermes, they'd still lose like for example, if vitaly won against levan, he'd get beat by ermes and then get beat by Devon, and if ermes manages to beat levan, and beat vitaly, ermes would lose to Devon, this is crazy
Devon is getting information for potential matches in the future. Watch his face when he got the stop on Levan. He might give it 1 more try in a couple of years.
Devon has retired from super heavy weight. Now we can enjoy more videos like this without leaking Devon's strategy against competition in the ultimate class
On his recent interview it sounded like he will be back in superheav after seeing the Morozov vs Vitaly match something whisper on him to fight those guys, give him 1 year.

It is lovely to see the love for the sport both show every time they battle, is amazing to see them smiling like friends
Radial part of the wrist taken from Levan. This is the post-based style. Taking the high ground, attacking the index knuckle and the opponents high cup.
@@alexhub6075 Lol Who said anything about Devon beating Levan? Dude is untouchable right now. I meant guy like Devon never stays irrelevant in the sport. Devon knows limelight is on heavyweights, eventually he'll be back pulling HWs soon.
you're acting like levan is super weak he still held he's own and pinned devon couple times and didn't get pinned the only timed he sufferd is when devon used the kings move which won't happen in real match
Even levan knows when the arms are open in top role position, its difficult for him to take the wrist and put a side pressure, "this what devon knows😏😏"
@@altair227 Vitaly had a match at the event hes literally like as peaked as he could possibly be LOL im sure if Vitaly and Levan practice pulled that day Vitaly wouldve prob won
Same here bro,Devon/John/and Hutchings r my favs of all time. But yeah Levan was like 70/75% here at most, and didnt use the press! massive respect for both, but with only side pressure and Devon at 100% weight with pancakes...Levan will not pin him without a press in my book.Too much hand with rising and pronation after the first surge,Levan will need a press for the final 2 or so inches for a pin due to krazy ass pronation static hold from Devon
I love how, even down to 225-230 pounds, Devon still took every chance he could find to pull with the monsters at this event. Levan, Genadi, Vitaly, Sagov... And those guys all equally love pulling with him. He's a beacon and the draw in the sport, and the experience he can impart - even on guys much stronger than himself - is invaluable.
And Devon proceeds to pull everyone that showed up to the event lol this is awesome footage these two are great content together always. Some people had really hoped Devon would just become weak when he cut weight 😬
@@SirTE0 yeah sure fat you haven't seen strongmen it's not only fat they have 10 times the muscle of in avg guy you just don't know shit more fat doesn't mean less muscle it's not is defined is bodybuilder because of he's body fat% but don't get it twisted he has way more muscle then devon and anybody
@@camlcasehe clearly doesn’t give an eff considering he then pulled everyone in the building the rest of the night and then still gave Vitaly a crack. Yall think Vitaly would kill a prepped Devon that’s disrespecting Devon he’s at a very high level these past 2 years. It would be an amazing match
I know everyone makes jokes at how Levan is super strong! And yes, he is, but look at Devon is 15 years older and a lot smaller weight class to. Levan is built like a strong man and of course he has learned to use that size and power to strengths of arm wrestling. I always said if Devon could put on about at least 35 lbs. of pure muscle weight he could definitely give Levan all he wanted. Because Devon is that talented to.
Clearly they are not in the same league. May be Vitaly and Ermes are closer than Devon considering he is past his prime and Vitaly isn't exactly on the same vitamins as the rest of them. Prior to 2019 even Devon was on v limited vitamins.
@@user_1abcDevon in form would beat Ermes still at 110kg. Vitaly is an unknown now that he is committed. Devon still top 3 in SHW even at his light weight. Age is catching up though. He blew his back out in round 1 against Levan where it seemed they were close.
Devon here is like the main character that makes the OP villain raise an eyebrow that he was able to do anything to him at all before applying slightly more energy and defeating him easily.
Honestly, Devon temporarily retiring from SHW is a great strategy on his part. Since now he isn't a threat to the top guys, he's sparring with everyone without them having to worry about Devon figuring out their weaknesses and then coming for them. He is collecting as much DATA as he can from the top guys so when we does come back to the SHW, he'll have a much refined strategy for each AW, given that he could remain strong and age doesn't do a number on him.
Looks like Devon actually quit on purpose at the end there, out of respect. He knew he had a good grip and control, but didn't want to pin the king, because he knows Levan is superior overall. Impressive ego control and humility !
the stronger puppy dogs will purposefully submit to the weaker puppy dogs during playtime to keep their interest in the game thats what levan and devon is.
@@pronationisoverrated bro what are you smoking this is levan in his off season and he is not acting in this match he just gassed out in this match and he is so much weaker in his off season even irakli can pin him so devon can too
@@mr.lucky56 yeah yeah whatever makes you feel good about devon as if it matters what i said is just an analogy even off season levan can beat devon anyday did he have to prove it its already been proven if you dont believe it then continue live in your delusion I wouldnt mind.😂 levan can go all out but chose not to because its practice we all know what happens if he does wink wink.😜
@@pronationisoverrated are 6 years old dude even irakli and bacho can beat off season levan stop being delusional and embarrassing yourself . "Stronger pupy dog and weak pupy dog " and "wink wink " are you ok ? even if the first comment was a analogy it's still weird and doesn't make any sense and this is a practice pull what happened in it really happened and other people agree to it too . You're just a typical devon hater i would agree a levan in good shape would beat shw devon but you fail to acknowledge the truth and devon had beaten everyone in shw division except levan and levan really just lost endurance in this practice pull and lost
@@deimantasmarkevicius1322Yes, that's right. But I want what would happen if ERMES GASPARINI had a rematch against Levan, maybe there is a chance for ERMES to win.
The difference in size and physique of Devon now compared to when they last squared off is crazy.. But the craziest part f all this is the last right hand pull where Levan lets Devon get in the most advantageous position then lets him begin to pin him only to 100% reverse it.. Levan is truly the strongest man on the planet
@@blankname6629 Just wait to see what Levan does to Brian Shaw on the table. All the strongest men in the world could train arm wrestling and never come close to Levan... Now if Levan trained for the words strongest man, He'd give them a run for their money. Like I said, Levan let Devon get in the most advantageous position where 99% of arm wrestlers would have their opponent dead to rights only to 100% reverse it.. If you know arm wrestling, you know that it was an unmatched feat of strength.. Go look at what he did to Larry wheels even when wheels had 3 body size rubber bands on. Devon did'nt retire for no reason... he knows Levan is beyond human strong
