A dozen attempts, and I was able to defeat the devourer, a few attempts made me want to yank my hair out, but I managed to beat him before getting to the point of actually doing it.
Yeah once you waste 4 hours of your life non stop he starts to become easy to doge and a joke if you do him almost no hit like dis guy did and also me who went no hit first phase and damaged like twice second phase lol. Guess he turned into dog food
My first time fighting Devourer of Gods on Death Mode: *HELP* Now being quite experienced with the mod, DoG is a not too bad and an incredibly fun boss fight.
700 hours of modded playtime for me, probably thousands of hours for others leads to becoming good at the game, the first time I beat DoG on expert mode took me around 4 hours and that was a co op playthrough with a friend, with enough playtime you can become just as good
@@Notvisibletoanyone56 i LOVE using the true biome blade with the circular swinging blade + healing attunement, because the devourer spins around in a circle, you can take as much damage as you want and then heal it up insantly.
First of all you have to be on pc, and you have to actually have terraria purchased on steam (don't know if you already have these requirements but I thought it would be better to just mention these), then you can just download tModLoader from steam, and then you can boot it up, go into workshop and search up the mods you want to download
While unrelated to DoG or this fight, I would like to say that melee in calamity master death mode mostly poses the issue for me of being woefully inconsistent in terms of what good weapons with range you can get, and the true melee options dont have enough DPS to shred yet, currently at astrum deus, there are more good viable weapons after moonlord I hope
Well the thing is master death mode bosses have a hell of a lot more health than they do on any other difficulty (except legendary), so obviously it'll take longer to drop boss health, personally I found that melee's dps was pretty consistent for me, no boss made me feel like the weapons I had weren't good enough
I can't lie, I actually enjoy the laser walls attack, maybe I've just gotten use to it after so many attempts at this fight (when I beat revengeance for the first time I took like 600 attempts to beat this man, I was not happy that day)
Shit I kind of forgot, but I think I used Celestial tracers (they used to be called seraph tracers), asgard's valor, the affliction, destroyer's emblem, fire guantlet, yharim's insignia, and a warrior emblem, for reforges 3 were warding, and the other 4 menacing
Necesitas cambiarlo en los ajustes, te vas a interfaz, y arriba de borde de minimapa esta la configuración de "estilo de barra de jefes" y ahí lo puedes cambiar al estilo "calamity mod" para tener la barra de metal gear rising
@@unknowncat4337 alright I might try infernum once I fix my skill issue because I'm currently struggling with yharon on this death mode playthrough (I have slammed my desk approximately 22 times)
Infernum is just over-buffed shit, in which even the AI couldn’t do the bosses properly and they get bugged every 10-15 attempts, and more often than not, only with the help of a half-assed AI, when it misses one attack from the cycle, you can win. in absolute randomness there is difficulty, yes, but if assessed adequately, then the death mode is the most difficult
i kinda miss how the old fight was structured, where between the first and last phase, you had to do a boss rush of all 3 servants. i wonder why they removed it
@@frosted0001 Yeah bro, HOW DARE YOU, those potions made the fight so easy, its not like you beat the boss or anything, the potions did it for you. I swear some people has being a degenerate dumbass for a hobby
