So basically they said Gen 1 has more higher powered servers, so they got to migrate more people. Which is like, I guess I understand. But it's a bummer that they didn't clarify this earlier. The analysis to realize you're at the top of your match pool is pretty easy to do, and I'm sure it would have left everyone a lot more prepared.
@@TuneImmortal they made a mistake by letting G1 have 300 slots. They now are realizing that mistake and are attempting to minimize damage. Going forward, what happened this migration is good for the games overall health, but sucks for g2 kingdoms.
@@jerryxjl yeah. Short term this really sucks for G2 servers, but long term it's better for the games health. I just hope in KvKs with TFS / current 28B+ kd, there's a camp with two KD to make diplo easier
@@emboysadventures5954 there was a time when I would've chosen archers, but now that long range warfare has been removed, I would definitely pick mages again. Mages tend to get less merits than archers, but they have longer range. I'm more comfortable with the maneuverability of being further away. If you're heavily p2w you can focus on infantry, and if you're going to be insanely active + you enjoy farm killing, you can use cavalry

@@emboysadventures5954 well when you're spending that much you can basically do whatever you want, and it will work for the first three seasons. But after that when you enter the season of strife, you'll end up fighting against more T5, so overwhelming people with cavalry won't be as viable of an option
@@emboysadventures5954 well yeah you can definitely do that then, and then in future seasons you can pretty easily pivot to using a different unit type. Either way, have fun! And try not to kill your home kingdom 😂 it'll be tempting, but remember you can't solo the whole kvk in the second seasons You should probably join a project too, so you have good leadership 👍
