DeWalt 20V MAX/FLEXVOLT 7-1/4" Circular Saw DCS573B - Overview + Tool In Action
In this video I provide an overview of the tool and demonstrate it with a 4.0 Ah 20-Volt MAX XR battery. Using a 60V FlexVolt battery provides 77% more power for faster cuts than shown in the video. Nice tool!
I got mine from The Home Depot.

Seems like a nice saw. I see you running it along a Bora rail. Have you tried it in the Bora saw plate? It looks like it will not fit properly due to the front edge of the plate not having enough space for the front clamp to engage properly. Would love to know. Thanks.

The DeWalt works with the Bora Saw plate/sled. To make it fit you have to lift the blade (or lower the shoe) first and reposition the clamps so they don’t interfere with the motor housing. Then you lower the blade to the correct depth. It’s a little tricky, but it works. I would have used the sled in the video, but I keep it attached to my old corded Makita so I don’t have to set it up each time. Once set up, the track system is definitely helpful.

Nobody can tell how much Power the saw has when you cut slow like that , any saw can do that .....

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps I’ll do a follow up where I put a flex volt on the DeWalt and have it go head to head with my Milwaukee Fuel. I’ll jam them through the boards to see if they bog down. Without a Flexvolt, the DeWalt has less power than the Milwaukee. I also prefer the ergonomics of the Milwaukee. Thanks again!

@@BruceAlanR --- Did you get the FlexVolt starter kit with that saw , it has the 6.0ah FlexVolt battery and the New 6 amp charger ?? If you didn't , bring that saw back to HD , because right now if you buy the FlexVolt Stater Kit for $199 , you will get the FlexVolt Advantage circular saw for FREE 💥 or any of the other FlexVolt Advantage tools , I just got the reciprocating saw , it's a Great Deal . 👍🖖
