Good attempt at providing a thorough and complete review. Blade changing was a plus! You might want to learn how to use it! Fluid consistent motion, no constant stopping! Please clamp your work when possible, and keep your hands away from the sole plate when in use! Stay safe and Healthy Peace
Thank you for sharing your input on battery life and performance with respect to battery size. Definitely getting corded!!!! I made the mistake in buying a Milwaukee Fuel M18 2980-20 4.5 - 6” braking grinder. That sucker eats batteries like no other. It can chew thru a total of 20 Amp/ hrs of juice in just 30 minutes! I see the need for cordless versions, but not with abysmal run times (per my applications)…. I’d rather hump hundreds of feet of 12/3 HD extension cord and get limitless power.
I have to agree about cords. I did actually buy a corded planer last year although I have kept this one for when I only want to use it for a few minutes. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for a good review on this planer. I bought a second-hand 18V just a couple months ago. But I still don't know what that rectangular piece of black plastic does. My 2 cents would be if it has something to do with the blades?
Thank you for watching. I would assume it has something to do with the blades but I have never bothered figuring it out. It’s probably in the manual though
I’m surprised the 5amp hour battery doesn’t run any longer than 15 minutes or so. But like you said if I’m the middle of nowhere it’s perfect. Does a great job though.
