I usually put a bit of corrid in their water this time of year, the dosing recommendations are on the bottle. I also use a sheep drench from valley vet mid-summer if they are starting to look a little thin.
@@LedgemereHeritageFarm Is there a cutoff date of when one can give dewormer prior to butchering? One would think it'd be bad to have in the sheep's system/muscle mass if the meat is to be eaten.
@@esperago I think 30-45 days, but it depends upon the type. I get all my meds from valley vet except cdt and corrid which can be found at tractor supply. The sheep drench syringes can be bought there or Amazon or eBay and are reusable.
Don’t worm them unless they’re looking crappy. You can take a fecal to your vet for lab work too. I used to do that until I figured out what I was looking for
