In that case it wouldn't matter if it separated, unless a puppy didn't get all of the dose in the syringe. The issue isn't that the medicine separates, it's that if it does and only an unmixed part of the medicine is administered, the puppy will only get the wrong proprtion of the medicine's ingredients. @@FenrirAldebrand
I love how we get to see you doing the baby thing where you give them something to eat and then mime eating while you're doing it. It's such a deeply natural action that shows how connected you are to the puppies. Thank you again for sharing them with us this way.

They never like the dewormer regardless of flavor. It used to be banana flavored so of course it was “nana juice”😂. They hate it too. They’re growing so fast and they’re so stinking cute!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I mean, I gave my pup apple cinnamon flavored dewormer, and he wanted more (yeah, technically it was for horses, but it was the same medicine at the exact same dose he needed, so it's just packaging lol)

Thangg’s rainbow puppies are adorable! Thank you for sharing all the great things you’re doing to give them the best start in life. I’m sure you’ve already thought of this but now that Grey’s shown his wiggle strength, you may want to consider moving your weigh station to the floor-especially when you have to multi-task like with the medicine. It’s kind of like a baby on a changing table-you keep one hand on the baby if you have to reach for something. When babies learn to roll, it’s sometimes easier/safer just to change them on the floor, lol. Thanks again for these videos-I love watching them grow.🥰 Edit: Another unsolicited thought (Sorry, but I could see Grey worried you.) is you could try two-sided tape to attach the plastic tray to the scale temporarily.

These video’s honestly teach me a lot. My father has a K9 who recently retired,and when he had pups he was a sweetheart. It was hard keeping him away from him for a second , And I’m guessing you can tell how vet trips went😂

My appologies if the answer is already out there, how do you feel about E-collars / shock collars? I have a German Shepherd that is 10 months old, very smart dog, learns commands fast, listens fantastically (when he want to). In the last month or two he has started to ignore commands if he doesn't want to listen, has started chasing cars and barking at them (which he has never done) same with other dogs he has started barking at other dogs. He is starting to scare my family (having a uncontrollable 100lbs fur missle). Petsmart basically said I am on my own, they have done what they can but if he doesn't want to listen for the treat, that is all they can do. I contacted a trainer a few towns over who specializes in German Shepherd and trains police dogs. He says this is a pretty common problem at this age, and it is important that we work with our dog through this time and don't let him get away with these actions. He recommended bringing him in for training classes... and a E-collar, he uses them in training and suggested I get one. I have mixed feelings about E-collars, I don't want to hurt my dog or our relationship, but he is spiraling out of control and starting to worry people. I keep training every day with treats and his food, but I can't seem to break the bad habbits like chasing cars, not listening, barking and snipping at other dogs, which all started in the last 2 or 3 months. We never hit him or anything at home, he isn't abused, we don't have much stress in the house hold... I don't know what is causing the sudden shift in his actions.
I'm curious what training you do for cars and other dogs. How far away do they have to be before you can get his attention? Does he otherwise pay attention to you spontaneously? My family had a GSD that was extremely food motivated his first few months, where he would do anything for a single piece of kibble, and paid really close attention. Then he got more picky and sometimes didn't listen. From as far back I remember, he pulled towards other dogs, but since he never barked, we never focused on it. I think what trainers that don't use shock collars like Zak George here on RU-vid do is they have a clear distinction of a formal walk vs walks where they do whatever. They build it up with not just with treats, but also with "maybe now I'll suddenly change direction, start running". Keep him on his toes. We never had a strategy on how to ween off the reward for each command, and when we walked in the nearby forests we let him take the reins, to decide pace and direction. Occasionally we'd try to see if we could get him to pay attention to us instead of a nearby dog, and we were often successful, but it took getting real excited and running or a big reward depending on the size of the other dog and distance. All of this is to say I think I see where I went wrong in training the family dog. Should've focused on training a long-running "mode" where he has to pay close attention that can be turned on, instead of just training away each distraction excluding the scents he was always distracting himself with.
@@metarmask we trained him early with distractions and desensitization for cars and dogs. Asked him to sit and then gave him a treat if he didn't react towards it. We used to be able to sit right by the road and he would't go after them at all, just watch them go by. Dogs have always been a bit of a rough spot, we got him to the point where he could be about 8 feet away and not mind but if you got much closer than 5 feet he would go ballistic. Now a days he will bark at other dogs from across the parking lot, and try to chase and bark at cars driving by when we are in my back yard (about 65 feet from the road)
The info is out there, but it's hard to find. He used to use training collars and some early videos you can see them on the dogs. But as time went on, he never felt like he needed them and has stopped using them. He does not indicate if he thinks they are good or bad, just that he doesn't feel a need for them now.
Research shows that using shock collars can make the dog slower at responding. Your dog is going through puberty so some regression and personality developments are normal. Just dial back the level of your training a bit, do some easy socialization exercises then progress from there. Look at resources that deal with reactivity mainly since that seems to be the main issue. Control Unleashed is a classic. Meanwhile, keep in mind the stress put on your dog from various situations and find ways of letting your dog still get some exercise and enrichment without overstimulating or overwhelming them while they work through this tougher part of their life.
