This is the video I've been looking for. I've been indecisive to buy one or not, but your video has been a huge help. I'd give you 10 thumbs up if I could
The video explanation is very interesting. This mini camera is indeed very convenient. I bought a similar mini camera of this brand renhotec a few months ago because it can be carried with me, of course, it is not used to do bad things. It feels really very good. convenient.
Did you write the data correctly as described in Part 2? Maybe try reformatting the card, inserting it again, and then editing the time file again. Please note that the file must have the .txt extension. Maybe try to reset the camera.
The build quality is excellent. Unfortunately that is where the quality stops. Its advertised as having night vision. It does NOT have night vision facility.
Both Videos are Great information: Yes I am not too impressed with it for what I need on my vacation in Trinidad in the Caribbean. So Can you suggest a better one for my family with the same size in the next week before I leave? I will like to have it charged up with a battery or from an ac outlet. I carry my Android not my PC with me on holidays so charging up is also very important.
It always depends on what you want to do with the camera. As far as the features of the Dexilio are concerned, it is the best camera of its kind that I have tested so far.
No, definitely not. As explained in the video, the recording time on battery power is just over 5 hours. You can use an external power adapter to power the camera, but even then you are limited by the capacity of the SD card.
Are you sure the camera is fully charged? As mentioned in my video, the charging time is extremely long. Or does the red LED stay solid when you unplug the charger? In this case try to reset the camera.
Video and audio recording are two very distinct functions. However, they are saved on the same SD card. If you are recording a video clip, you are of course recording the audio of the video at the same time.
I noticed that the camera will only take video in 10 mins then it will stop...then it will take another video in 10 mins and stop again...how come it is not a continuous video..?
Most of these cameras record footage of 5 or 10 minutes each. This recording method prevents total loss of files if there is a problem with the SD card. On some cameras you can define the length you want to record yourself. On the Dexilio the recording time of each sequence is 10 minutes. It is not possible to change this parameter. However, the camera should not stop recording after 10 minutes. Maybe try setting the 'Loop' parameter to 'Y' as shown in part two.
The Windows driver for the camera is the GENERAL-UVC driver, for Android with an OTG connector you can also connect the camera using the GENPLUS USB drive. I don't know the capabilities of an IOS device unfortunately, but in my opinion doing it like an Android device, it should also be possible to view the camera directory.
You can either remove the SD card and view the video on a PC or connect your camera to a smartphone. Please watch the second part for the connection to the smartphone.
Can you be a little more specific. Are all the sequences you recorded only 20 seconds long? Does the camera turn off after 20 seconds? Is your motion detection enabled in the configuration settings?
I'm assuming you're talking about motion detection. It is normal for the camera to record only one minute after detecting movement. It is a fixed value that cannot be changed. However, if permanent movement is detected, the camera records for as long as that movement exists. For example if motion is detected for 1 minute and 5 seconds, the camera will record for 2 minutes. But as explained in the video, I unfortunately noticed that the motion detection is not the strong point of this camera and that it is possible that it does not work as it should.
I bought one of them cameras and it will not image when I take videos this says they're the file and it run for 1 minute with no actual video. Blank. Thats how the camera ? works. what's going on
1) When the battery is being charged, the red LED is on. When fully charged, the red LED turns off. This process can take 5 hours on an external charger and much longer when charged from a USB socket. Make sure the camera is not in recording mode when charging the camera. 2) As with most of these cameras, there is no remaining battery capacity indicator.
