That would be the greatest outcome, I do think they’ll reunite in this show however I believe Dexter will escape custody on a Technicality; not to dissimilar to Dexter’s own Victims being convicted murderers released on Technicalities. I hope that Harrison is reintroduced aswell but i hope they give him an ctual good character Arc, instead of rebelling against his father he truly learns the way of Harry’s Code.

If they mess it up again, they will hold the record in the GALAXY for a great show with 3 bad endings. I don't think there is a single other franchise made by humans OR aliens that would miss the mark so badly.

no he stands trail for the bay harbour buthcher but is let off to inconclusive evidence. The rest of the series involves him trying to figure out how to satisfy his need now that his secret is out.
Only way they get out of this is he was dreaming up the last part in jail cell and then gets off somehow cuz killing the cop tied hum to that body all the others there no proof he had anything to do with it.

I'm not sure the audience would buy it unless it's really well executed.

True, he's killed so many people including cops (Zoey was evil but still a cop), he's broken out of custody already kiling a cop in the process, he's got a history of faking his identity, faking evidence to get off, and manipulating people against each other, he even shut down an entire airport all by himself, he would be in a league of his own on par with foreign spies, cartel bosses, terrorists and other mass murderers, he's a textbook candidate for ADX Florence. Anything else would pose a danger to inmates and prison guards as he would constantly be trying to escape.

Very interesting concept. But I feel like Dexter with a "license to kill" could only work for a season or 2. There aren't a lot of places to go from there, once it's all out in the open.. Still, solid job on this theoretical trailer
I wouldn't mind it but then it would be exactly like all spy type shows. The whole point of dexter "don't get caught" it takes away from the code. I prefer dexter work in the shadows.

If his face is all over the news, that's going to make him damaged goods. He would struggle to blend in even in very remote parts of the world.

Fuck, I mean, I was all for Dexter resurrection series, but I always felt the story would feel like.. you know, a mistake being corrected by the writers, but this story... It would be kind of a natural story progression and would be such an interesting spin to Dexter. Now I feel dread waiting for the real thing, cause I have a feeling it won't be this good. Not quite... Undoing the end of New Blood where Dexter survives will be an insult to the audience's intelligence and the show will get bombed by the critics... After the events of New Blood, Harrison becomes delusional and overtaken by his dark passenger who he thinks is his dad. Harrison does all the killings thinking he is Dexter. The audience gets to see Dexter do the killing but in fact, it's Harrison. Just like we saw Brian kill that weed farmer in season 6, where in fact it was Dexter who killed him.. Dexter did die in New Blood and he won't physically return. MCH will reprise the role of Dexter, but in Harrison's mind. We'll get to see it as if it's the real thing. Dexter Resurrection is about Harrison turning into Dexter...
