i am not Muslim but i am happy to see a faith taking advantage of this suffering to spread love and educate people. this is what other religions who constantly want to judge people and step on them in a moment of depression and suffering should be doing. keep educating people to help understand and find them path
Yeah, this faith really emphasises that humans are fallible and that everybody have different circumstances. Nobody is beyond redemption as long as they open their heart like this former IDF soldier did. We can all be one people.
Some of the worst and utterly tyrannical oppressors became the most steadfast companions of the Prophet. Caliph Umar is but one famous example; there are many more. If the Prophet took these reformed men under his wing, how can we deny the same forgiveness and love to this brother? @@miraclegend1016 In the shahada there is no provision for repentance and forgiveness..So the bad Muslims can remain bad and still be devout Muslims. In Christianity is is not done this way .One has to first confess his sins, and express a desire to repent. In Islam all one has to do is pledge allegiance to the five pillars.. The extremists who beat up the imam felt no remorse..They felt that they were acting in accordance with their religious duties. If a Christian is involved in such heinous act he would always admit that he backslide If you doubt me Ask any of the extremist if he was sorry for what he did..and get his response.

We do forgive him and that's the beauty of Islam. There may be a day we pray side by side with him at the masjid, break fast with him, or join a Quran class with him. Alhamdulillah for Islam and the mercy it teaches us to have to all creation.
