Interesting, if the chips were incinerated first I would say it would be even better,I have been told that the chips need to be incinerated first before grinding to get the best results, be Interesting to see what way will be best to separate the copper from the plastic after ,love the new machine and video
I'd be interested in a look under the hood if the panels can come off. What ratings are on the motor? Also, it's fine to not freak about getting a damaged shipment. It's not ok to let them get away with it. Extract some insurance or a partial refund. Otherwise, they get sloppier and rougher with everyone's shipment.
I've watched this video a few times because I'm looking into the same process for my plated boards rather than just going in to chemicals. Can you show what you do after pulverizing the populated boards. I'm thinking by doing it this way you might get more copper than what it's worth. I like the idea of taking boards down to a powder form and seeing what's next.
I might post a video this week processing about 8 lbs of telecom boards. I'll show all of the process. I have other videos where I'm using blue bowl to separate metals from junk and after that you either take the acids path or cupel or both.
@@MetalScrapLab I figured the blue bowl was part of your process afterwards. The more I was thinking due to how light the plating is, I was afraid it would float and most lost. I'm excited to see your process from start to finish.
nice machine brother, for transformers perhaps use Large-Holes, no need have Powder mix, did you try Magnet or Blue-Bowl to Separate, what was Result ...
watched most your vids now, very interesting. it seems some nice equipment available from both china and india. We was in midst of starting a LAB with CHEMICALS, yet cant find a SPACE for it. it be loads of Fun following Your-Lead and possibly use ELEC-TRICKERY to take apart MOLTEN-METALS from PCB, unless you can show a simpler way. keep them coming ...
I'm trying to avoid burning anything also I'm trying to move away from acids and replace it with cupel. I do understand what your saying and its a good point but I'm willing to take a slight loss avoiding ashing.
