The trip from Emporia out West for the west coast swing is the longest stretch on the tour, and what better way to break up the monotony of driving 10 hours a day than playing a new disc golf course!? Rita Blanca DGC in Dalhart, TX, is the 150th course I've had the pleasure of playing on my DG journey. A red flag wind advisory spiced this one up just a bit and you won't want to miss the beautiful sunset views!

From one photographer to another (kind of). Your tripod should have a small metal hook at the bottom of the center column underneath the head your camera sits on. If there is, you should be able to pull down on it and hook something weighty to it. A bag would for sure work, but only if you have a chord or strap that can connect the two so the bag sits on the ground, but can provide stability to the rig. Awesome video. Heartbreaker on 12.

Thank you for the info, after this I remembered the hook and started using that. Just takes a lot longer for constant setup unfortunately!

@ConnorOReillyDG what do you mean? I've Sean your Hulk pose. Just pick the whole thing up by the neck and carry it around like that, lol. I kid, I kid. What if you afix something to the hook for the duration of the round (e.g. a caribeaner), so that you could have a quick release. This would only need to be an option on really windy days and might make the difference between a decent shot and no shot at all. Of course, it all comes down to what you are comfortable with and what works for you. You seem to be posting more than I can keep up with, which is a good thing, I guess. I pray you have continued success.
