Some things to think about that you didn't mention, that can help contextualize this issue. 1) The PDGA and DGPT/DGN are divided internally on this issue, from the board-level, to across the companies at many levels. 2) The PDGA recently renamed the FPO division from Female Professional Open to Woman (or Woman's) Pro Open and started changing a number of the pages on their site to take the focus away from "female" which is now relegated to a biological-based term referring to sex, and "woman/women" as a gender-based term. Their 2024 division list has Woman's Pro Open and Woman's Pro XX+ where XX is the age bracket. Female Jr divisions are also now Girl's divisions. You spent a lot of time in this video showing some of the antics and bad behavior of Nikko but next to nothing from Natalie. If people want to know why she's divisive, it's more than merely being transgender and playing disc golf. People watching this video, who aren't knowledgeable of this issue, would have no idea of some of the craziest things she's said and done since she broke onto public awareness in 2022.

A little disengenuous to go so into Nikko’s specific actions without really talking about the straight bullying Natalie’s been doing not only to him but to many of the FPO players. Many of the comments made since the beginning of this whole thing have been, if you read them objectively and honestly, just bullying.

Nikko is what disc golf need can’t ever be against his passion and energy keep doing your thing.

Not only is Natalie competing unfairly with actual women instead of trying to play in the open division, he has cost the PDGA a ton of money in legal fees. Money that could go toward bettering the sport. It's a purely selfish endeavor and should not be supported, no matter who it's from. As an am player, I know that by competing in tournaments, I'm losing money so open players can have better payouts. I'm fine with that because it grows the sport that I love. Natalie wants his way and is willing to damage the sport to get it.

Nikko is much more invested in the fpo division considering his gf Kat is also outspoken on the matter. But one man is positively affecting the fpo financially helping, and the other man is running from state to state with a box of matches just trying to “burn it all down”. I wish this analysis was a few more minutes in depth, and really focused in on both characters equally.

How do they cross paths? one is predictably bigoted; another was existing in a similar place and suffered the consequences. Nikko knows this will boost him as 75% of average disc golfers are surprisingly conservative given the sport at hand.

Everyone has had their temper tantrums, their "blowout" holes, a terrible shot, double, triple, quad, snowman, bogey whatever. We all get frustrated, but the thing that happened at the European open was inexcusable! Standing up for the PWDGA is something the woman can or could do. There's incidences where girls in U.S. high schools that refuse to play against "born males". I hope they keep that trend through the centuries! God bless... 🙏

One thing I'm going to correct you on. Transgender women competing in a female protected division is NOT Political. Not by a mile. It is a biological/livelihood issue. Women have a right to be bitter about an athlete who has a biological advantage over other born women. And to say they do not is honestly ignorant. Skill is another discussion and I can personally say, while I throw farther than most women I play against, I will not always beat them by any stretch. I'm a firm supporter of men/women's right to be transgender and have friends that are as well. But to say they are on even footing with biological females in a competitive field is simply not accurate. I don't have a good answer for what resolution should be done. Transgender divisions would A. result in non-competing as there would likely not be enough to allow the division to happen in the event. B. Segregate them further thus likely creating animosity and disinterest in their competitions (potentially). There is the Mixed Pro Open division when seems to be the consensus but again, they would be at a disadvantage there are well due to hormone therapy. It's a shitty situation all around.

No discussion about Ryan's threat of burning down Women's FPO DG, and taking money, qualification spots and possible endorsements from the lady's? That hurts women, and isn't that the 'gender' Ryan should want most to honor? A lot of time in this video was spent talking negatively about Nikko, it's apples and oranges. Nikko isn't trying to destroy disc golf. I now have found more respect for Nikko by him supporting women's DG.

The disc golf pro tour is not successful, here are a few reasons why: players, sponsored by disc manufacturers, make millions of dollars while tournaments, sponsored by the same manufacturers, pay out peanuts! It MUST be the other way around. Disc golf manufacturers don’t have professional courses that are designed for spectators and professional camera crews. Announcers never (rarely ever) mention the disc thrown or its specific weight. Announcers are not experts in announcing! Players carry too many discs. There must be a limit and discs must be weighed before each tour event. Baskets and tee pads vary from tournament to tournament. There must be a standard basket and tee pad. The adverts under the basket, those MUST PROMPTLY AND PERMANENTLY BE REMOVED!!! FLAGS ON TOP OF EVERY BASKET SHOULD BE MANDATORY! There are no (almost none) major outside sponsors of tournaments. These are some major problems. Before the tour can attract major sponsors (soft drinks, alcohol, automobile, jewelry, etc.) there must be viewership. In order to increase interest in the sport, pay outs must be much higher. Macbeth got 7 “million$”! That’s “70” 100,000$ payouts! That’s “1” player contract!!! Players need to “earn” their money by winning. Then they can eventually be sponsored by clothing, automobile, alcohol, soft drink etc, manufacturers or other outside sponsors. Viewers and fans of disc golf must demand that all these and more steps be taken to push our sport to the level it deserves to be at.

The narrator here is clearly for biological males competing against women in the women's division. This narrator has failed to inform you the actual truth to the Trans situation with the pro tour. One major failure is the fact that 80 % of the women competing in the pro tour signed a petition to turn over the ruling that allowed Ryan to play. We won't even talk about all the support from the males in the pro tour. He then goes on to dog Nikko whom made a complete turn around and is really stepping it up to show support for the biological women protected divlsion. Outside of competing in the wrong division, I hope for the absolute best for Ryan.
