The Pali word "Dukkha" has misleadingly translated to English as "suffering". Suffering is Dukkha but Dukkha is not merely suffering. It has more deeper and wider meaning than that. Therefore it kept untranslated. This inaccurate translate leads to an idea that some has which Buddhism is a pessimistic teaching.
