The fact that his name is ‘Dhani’ which in any Indian language means “wealthy person “ brings tears of joy to my eyes cuz ‘Dhani’ doesn’t just mean rich with money but someone who has wealth of money and knowledge; which is so true in case of Dhani Harrison. Cuz he is truly blessed with the knowledge and wealth his father left for him

I don't believe that was the intention behind the name. It is a portmanteau of two notes in Indian classical music, "Dha" and "Ni" (the equivalent of the western "La" and "Ti")

I've heard there are classes and prejudice to the North and South within India 🇮🇳. Huge countries will always have issues like that, and I'm ignorant. I saw two guys yelling at each like f you! No f you l! I was just standing there in line like hi 10$ for pump 3. I don't speak the languages, but their glares and body languages definitely wanted to fight. Later I learned about how volatile it can be by a friend, and it i was like oh crap when I looked in to it. TIL.

I met Dhani three times and washed his hair When I was a junior hairdresser working at Trevor Sorbie in Covent Garden, he’s so humble and down to earth not to mention spitting image of his father. Dhani is very generous and gives his time for a good conversation. Lovely person

It's a bit easier for Dhani though :) George was only 19 when The Beatles released their first record, and soon became the most famous band in the UK & then the world. When they performed on the Ed Sullivan show to 73 million people, George wasn't even 21. They were surrounded by screaming fans and camera crew everywhere they went and under enormous pressure both from the public, and the music industry. The more they succeeded, the more pressure they were under to keep doing so. Many musicians have not coped well with fame. Quite a few have tragically died too young from drugs because they couldn't cope. It's amazing that George actually stayed so relaxed and calm, and not only continued to play music but produce films and bring up this wonderful son.

I think what is so beautiful is Dhani has picked up and embraced George’s legacy instead of letting it be a shadow of resentment. In addition to being a testament to his own character, as many people has also said, I think that is also a testament to his parents. ❤

It’s actually quite interesting to note he’s the ying to Julian Lennons Yang. The guy is nice as can be but wants nothing to do with father, although i suspect a large part involves Yoko having John cut him out of his will. Say what you must but what kind of man does that to his own flesh and blood. Can’t blame him for making it on his own.

Dhani is a perfect name for George’s son. Not only does it translate to “wealthy person” in Indian but it represents George’s love for Indian culture. It’s also a normal pronunciation of a uniquely spelled common English name, unlike so many other celebrity children’s name that are just way out there, like Jonathan Davis’ son Pirate.

The late, great, George Harrison was my favorite Beatle since they invaded us in 1964. He seemed like just a great guy and never acted like he was better than anyone or any other band. He also put out some great music on his own.

George came to the US in 1963 to visit sister Louise in Illinois, a pre-British Invasion. George returned to England and reported to his bandmates that they are unknown in the States. Dhani has an Uncle Peter and Aunt Louise on his mother's side and his father's side.

Because I've seen so few images of Dhani over the years, the comparison between his appearance at the 'Concert for George,' show, and NOW, is hard to take in. It's called maturing I guess; and what a decent young man he still is.
