Landing in the Northerly direction at a private strip in Lincolnshire, UK. You have to stay high initially, then drop down following the river Trent as you pass almost between the trees, to line up with the runway.
Nicely done! I flew Chippy G-BCSL for over 30 years, mostly into and out of farm strips. Real fun flying weaving between the trees and flying around any houses on short final|!
Many years ago I was CFI of a well known flying club in the North of England. There were many private strips in that part of North Yorkshire. I organised several rallies to remote strips for members and the club fleet. My dictum was, if the approach is not stable - go around. I doubt whether the insurance companies would countenance such an event today.
