And again a long ride with the C208 - great. Simming momentarily also in South America from SKSP in 2 to 3 h flights (SEQM - SKBO - SKSM - SKCL - SKLT - SPJC). Yesterday landed in SPTN with the A320. Would be great to meet you one time live in Germany...chances are small, but who knows. 😃

Question: why did you choose to disconnect autopilot quite far out on approach? Enjoyed the bonus coverage of your ferry flight. Captain Guido, may I ask why you disengage the autopilot by touching the trim switches instead of the AP disconnect button? Would that be to leave the yaw damper engaged?

That is a good question Mark. If you disengage the AP early on the approach, you still want to have the YD engaged. Very uncomfortable for the passengers otherwise. Important is to disengage YD before touch down. Happy Landings, Capt. Guido
