Hi there TT Bro, I had also bought Dhs Cloud & Fog 3 in 1 mm sponge (red), but havent installed it yet on any blade. By watching your test & review also I get some insight of this Rubber especially for the Chop and Counter/Block shots which this rubber should be excel too. What do you think if you compare this C&F3 rubber with Neptune Ox or Neptune 0.7mm ? Which is more easy to control for the chops, blocks , chop blocks and etc..? I have use Neptune Ox for backhand rubber, and so far I find it quite easy and good control, Chops are good but only for flat hitting sometimes the ball still kinda floating and not easy to control the shot, while the sponge version on other blade (Koji Matsushita Special) I find it the trajectory a bit lower and control is somewhat a bit faster, although I havent fully testing this setup. thanks
A bit of late comment but how did feel about this rubber, was it good enough for chopping and close to the table? And can you maybe think about testing neottec tokkan?
Hey) Well pips is not bad. U can chop with it quite good. With this blade it was good setup. Good control and balance. For me it’s little bit fast. I don’t like fast pips. But at the same time I’m using now curl p1r on sponge 1,4-1,7mm and it also fast but can produce a LOT of heavy spin and as result make suffering of my opponent :-) It’s help me on my level improve my game I play long time with tsp curl p1r, feint long 3, and neptune. All of them are good for defence. My own ranking of this pips: 1. curl p1r 2. feint long 3 3. neptune 4. Cloud and fog If have good level try tsp. If not try neptune About tokkan: I didn’t test it. What u know about them?
Wasn’t very easy play against this pips with chop. They produced a lot of under spin. Block was not very difficult and I think that because pips on 1.0 sponge.
