Yeah buddy! 2006 was the s**t! Sure, social media was just starting to be conceptualized back then, but 2006 was one of the most awesome years in history! My favorite thing from 2006 was when the Edmonton Oilers made it to the Stanley Cup Finals against Carolina, it was EPIC despite the outcome; I remembered watching each game with my dad. I'd do anything to relive that year!
You know what? I think I stumbled upon this song for the first time when I was 12, and I would keep it on repeat because I thought it was so amazing. I am in college now, and I STILL get chills whenever I hear this version. I am solidly convinced that I could never get tired of this song; it is an impossibility!
same here bro ! 13 when i hear this song and fall in love for the first time ! now i m 27 and still coming back to it ! If you see this comment i wish you good luck in everything you do !
Tonight, I notice people still watch my RU-vid videos. And I just wanted to thank everyone for rating and commenting their thoughts. Thank you everyone. You guys are good people.
I was 13 when I heard the original track in 2000. I've loved this song ever since & have always loved the techno version of it. Great music lasts throughout time.
Lol, same. I was thinking about the song just now all of a sudden, in my dark room with red l.e.d lights as my only lighting, and I couldn't help but sadly, sheepishly, and depressingly reminisce about this song, and the good old innocent, and ignorant days when Naruto was first taking the anime world by storm back in 2009.😧 I haven't done shit with my life.
Omg...this nostalgic song reminds me of Maplestory in Bera back in 2003ish where I used to spend hours leveling....Those summers all I did was go swimming, play sports, watch Naruto and play Maple.... Man I want my childhood back!!!!!!!!!!
I remember going on a rd trip w/an old friend. She was chasing after love. She went on & on & on about him. I knew he dated another acquaintance of ours before her & new he wasn't good news. But I also knew, she was gonna do wever she felt was right for her anyways. I think this was on a burnt cd :/ of mine, & just turned up the volume... i told her to listen bc it seemed fitting for the moment. She went completely opposite... & was like you're right! I should so completely keep trying at this. My head: 😖 I actually meant to drop him. He was physically abusive towards both of them.
I, too remember hearing this techno version on the radio constantly. Then, the day hurricane Katrina happened, our radio station in upstate NY played the somber vocal and piano version DHT did. I don’t know why they picked that song, but it seemed to capture the time and events happening then.
This will forever be the only acceptable version of this song in my opinion. There's so many versions of this song but this is the only one that gives you that feel good gut feeling.
"Listen to your gut, when it is bumbling for you, listen to your gut, there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going and I don't know why, but listen to your gut, before you fall for that charm" Gut over heart. Also, this bop is still awesome till this day. Happy 2020 folks.
you're not alone! It reminds me of the intro scenery for the kingdom hearts 2 theme song, but it might sound familiar because it sounds a bit like Darkness of the Unknown part 3
Alright. It's summer of 2015. A guy walks over in a pug shirt, crying. When you ask him what's wrong, he tells you this sad story that his pugs died in a vicious monopoly game. You don't question his sanity, you just feel bad. The song begins to play, and imagine right before the climax, an epic mosh pit appears. Instantly everyone is jumping around you slamming into one another. Pretty much sums up my favorite moment of my camp last year.
