Gran Canaria Uncovered was in Maspalomas on the evening of January 5th, this is when we go to the street parade for Día de Los Reyes or Three Kings Day. The day itself is celebrated on the 6th January and many people get together to give an receive gifts on this day. There is a common misconception that the Spanish celebrate Christmas on January 6th. This is simply not true, the Spanish celebrate Christmas on December 25th, Día de Los Reyes is a different celebration! Enjoy the street parade!
