ill be honest, i stopped playing diablo 2 YEARRRRRSSS ago but I always come back to watch videos of people finding rate items, its always fun! Great work bro!

Do it. Play Hardcore... its actually more horryfic than Diablo 1. Hardcore is for what I must thank Diablo 3. That piece of crap would be otherwise unplayable. It takes time to kill the fear of death. Finally got my Top 80 Soso Queen on classic HC. Next season I ll give LoD a chance :D Its buggy... Its laggy and its pitty that almighty shitty blizzard with all those money does not invest into some new servers or such.
I agree. Even if he re-did some spots it would be just as fun. I just did my own 1000 pindleskin runs and now i'm doing it again until I get damn tals and IK armors for my grail
A few months back I managed to land 2 SOJs 10 runs apart from each other on hell Andy (I count myself incredibly lucky). Managed to get a 3rd one a few weeks later too. You might get a slightly higher chance to land one off NM Andy, but you'll miss out on all of the decent high end exceptional and low end elite uniques.
Started playing with a frenzy barb, no special hunting, just did 73x Countess run for runes. During these 73 runs, I have found tons and tons of uniques and other great items. One of those was Highlords. I asked my friend (an ex D2 pro) if this is good, he was like: lol, you rolled the best amulet for melee. Indeed, it helps during the fights, it's good :)
I'm ocd about rares after finding a rune sword which is nightmare version of cryptic sword.. it rolled over 400 percent on damage and ias with few extras.. I cant not id em now so every video I watch I'm constantly thinking ..Check that falchion ! It could be a Godly rare! Lol great videos
Yes, but no. Falchions become Hydra Edges. It’s a garbage base. Maybe more valuable in single player because of finding eBotD runes/bases, but eth rare crystal swords/dimensional blades = drool
I'm so playing D2 again when I get spare time... and SOJ is bloody hard to find from my experience - only ever found one if I remember correctly from countless runs of Hell Andy. Although I played on Battle.net without the players difficulty number booster.
Eth guardian angel is definitely my favorite drop since is 1 off perfect 199 ED -> the very same armor ethereal upped with ZOD is what my EU SC ladder smiter wears and he is TANNNNNKY!!!!!
When i used to play diablo 2 in high school, i did 200-500 andy runs a day... had i known you can make youtube videos of stuff like that i would have recorded that shit. Too bad youtube wasn't really a thing back then.
Did you see his 2205 NM Andariel run video? It took him 2205 runs to farm 100 unique rings in NM which only 3 can can (including SoJ), and of the 100...only 3 were SoJ.
A trade windows actually a far better place to find that soj hear you can get em to drop almost 100 percent in a trade window but you wont always get the pick up
I played a lot of D2 when it came out, and back then you couldn't have the game drop a unique item which you wore or held in your inventory. Since there were only 3 unique rings at the time, you could just carry around Nagel and Manald and be assured while dropping an unidentified unique ring that it was the SOJ. I think I found 5 of them that way. Good old times haha...
I was so sad, I wanted to farm NM Andy until one ring dropped because I rolled near perfect map, with both doors 3 TPs away from the entrances, but I clicked Hell by mistake and rip map :/
Soj is only benefit she has in nightmare over hell. Way more loot hell andy can drop so.imo shes better over the long run then nightmare only. Just my 2 cents :)
@@Dbrunski125 I understand your point. I just feel that you put so much emphasis at the start of the video on the SoJ drop that it deserved a mention. I remember people running classic NM Andy on bnet back in the day to later convert with a stash full of SoJs. As I recall classic excluded more of the unique rings like Manald's from the already small tressure class. Although I'd wager it's harder to stack MF on classic.

I had a bunch of gold from travincal laying around on Plugy, so I spent a bunch on gambling rings and amulets, and I didn't roll 1 unique after spending like 15 mill (or 6 sets of 2,5 mil). I know that GFing was a thing back in the day but I thought it was for circlets/diadems and gloves mostly.
The right way to do it is in nightmare not in hell because of the ilvl. Its even better with the first kill 'bug'. So most people found it during a rush.
Sorry if this been asked before but, how do you keep track of your run count? I've done a nm andy runs to see how many run it takes to get a SoJ (it was somewhere around 300 runs). I noted every jewelery I found and in what run and I think the biggest challenge was not losing count in which run I was in, I had to write down on paper the number each time. Do you use some mod for that?
What skill is he defeating her with? Fireball? I think my merc and my own character must be much weaker. She trounces my BlizzBaller but I play in single player with no plugY. And I only have +7 to skills. My merc and I melt even with maxed poison resist in hell. Is dbrunski just telestomping her and doing point blank fireball?
I am 600 runs in looking for highlords as it is my 7th to last item on my current grail Barb.. i have dropped 2 Lo runes, 1 Ohm rune, 1 Mal rune, 2 Um runes and 2 Fal runes but nothing else note worthy. My map has 2 unique packs that die with andarial and I am hoaking some of them so I have found pages and pages of stuff to gear up several charecters through hell I never realized how good she is for hell level items but not absolute GG items. Better then Mephisto because she drops everything you need beside Arachs and Reapers Toll. Farm Andy at least 1000 times then farm LK for Infinity then level up from there
No you never run nightmare andy. Soj drops more because she can only drop manald nagel and soj for unique rings. But she also drops nothing else useful so hell is way better
@Jason Hardin So boss. It is not relevant what you think. It is relevant what is the truth, so the fact you don't believe it doesn't make it a lie. I've been playing this game for more than 15 years, and I know many things that you do not have idea about.
@4:50 Strength is a deceptively sucky mod on skillers, especially for casters (at least it adds damage for melee chars ...) If you use it to save a few hard points into strength, someday you'll find a skiller with more than 15-20 life and at that point you'll need to level-up or respec before being able to replace the strength one. I felt the pain when my hammerdin got himself a +39 life combat skiller at level 93; with maintaining max block, I had to level up TWICE before being able to replace the 5 strength one he had. :/
