Diablo 2: Baals Most Disturbing Demon - Diablo Lore Act V - 1 

I played Diablo II as a literal child and Act 5 is just a bunch of scattered memories (I didn’t play it as much as the other acts), so I’m excited to relive my memories

I was already almost 60 years old when I first played D2, finding it hard to join games and then it could be dangerous as suddenly some renegade player would become an enemy and kill you very quickly! It was not fun at all. I don't have D2 anymore as I could never figure out how to transport to later computers. So it is nice to review the story. I mostly played as an Assassin but I build that was rather unusual.

Oh damn! I remember Nihlathak! Crazy how good the voice acting was.

I really like how you are uncovering the greatness of this game, you reveal aspects and details of the game/story that are easily missed but are highly interesting and worth mentioning! i.e. 12:50 ..."rather dying in a ball of flame then live under the yoke of their overseer" ...dang, never thought of it in that way before, nicely done!

i have just finished Diablo II again as an assassin and will continue playing with a mod i just found Median XL. I returned to d2 because your videos reminded me of this great jorney! ty

Nearly broke my neck turning to look back at my screen when I heard the voice of Michael Bell. Such a fantastic actor and such a brilliant voice. I appreciate the legacy of kain references in Diablo 3.

Dispite playing Diablo 2 for 20 years and knowing the game almost like the back of my hand i find this lore series to be very entertaining. Thanks for a great series of videos :)

Aah the rerunning of this first part was an almost endless action for loot and xp. TP to the end and working back to the entrance of the town.

I remember my big brother getting Diablo 2 when I was a kid and watching him play, occasionally getting a turn on the game. We had the original copy and had NO idea about Lord of Destruction. Years later I got a copy myself and got to Act V, only experiencing it through videos when I looked up the ending to the original D2. It sent shivers down my spine when I first arrived to Harrogath for the first time. It really speaks to the quality of D2 to be able to do that to someone fully aware of the expansion through videos when they get to that act for the first time.

This day just gets better and better!

My favourite part of d2 was always the online. It was such a game changer. All the baal runs, cow runs, duels, the trading and etc

I don't remember a lot of this dialogue. I think I only ever played act V once, and I don't have my disc anymore.

This will feel like home to the player if he/she is playing as a Barbarian. More like defending your home, and you are not alone, also more devastating once you finished the game. This Act is probably more fun in Nightmare and Hell because of Guest Monsters.

When i was a kid the first time i get to Harrogath i was amazed i was " wow this is the land of my barb so cool" and the music still one of my favorites, and then the other barbs figthing the demons i fel the world so alive... I was thrilled, i was without a doubt going to kill Baal
