Diablo 4 - Everything You Need to Know About Lilith & Inarius

When I saw the trailer of Lilith I was like I wish I could make an entrance like that

I kinda wish Lilith would keep that transparent/blood design. It just looks so amazing and original...especially with that amazing cape.

Lilith did nothing wrong. Inarius and the others were debating the pros and cons of MURDERING THEIR CHILDREN so they could more easily hide from Heaven and Hell. She took it on herself to remove that option by killing all the angels and demons. She’s the good guy, who wasn’t willing to cowardly slaughter their own offspring. Then she gets thrown into the Void by Inarius, who proceeds to go power mad with time. Lilith breaks back in, manipulates some humans to be capable of defeating the agents of Inarius and Hell who are both trying to control them, and gets treated like a villain for it. Thrown into the Void again. Actions speak loudest and so far Lilith wanted to end the eternal conflict, fell in love, had kids, killed people who wanted to kill her kids, broke out of ultra prison to help her descendants retain free will, and generally put them on a path to be stronger than Heaven or Hell aka they can’t be at eternal war if there’s a bigger power between them preventing it. We’ll see in Diablo 4 but so far everything I read makes Lilith seem like the only one consistently trying to look out for Humanity and Sanctuary. Some evil or violent actions for a big picture of freedom and peace.

So logically Lilith is a protagonist and we should be working with her to end the war.

I think Lilith should save Inarious and they should forgive each other and get back together. They are the Romeo and Juliet of Diablo universe.

The lore of the Diablo franchise is so immersive, I have loved the stories since i was quite young, i played diablo and diablo 2 when i was still in middle school. The cinematics created by blizzard and blizzard north are simply astounding! Their ability to make you want more in just a short 5 minute video is never taken lightly, and i am very hopeful for the diablo show if it ever makes it that far! Your ability as well @Game LORE Dash to piece together the strewn details from several games and in game stories and painting a much more transparent plotline is so nice! keep it up!

Honestly, I really love the darkly thematic lore that the Diablo series laid out before us. Glad to see that Blizzard is returning to the series' horror-filled origins. Bring on the horror!

I am strangely drawn to her. Something in her face echoes strength but caring. Resolution in duty uncaring of everyone else that gets destroyed along the way. Perfection.

Bruh, Lilith has that amazing Cercei Lannister energy! A brutal, absolutely merciless ambition and protectiveness of her children. Love it.

Anyone noticed that this guy's little finger is cut off? And Lilith eyes are both blue in the trailer, but on Blizzard website only one eye is blue.

I hope players can actually choose to fight on Lilith's side, also hope Blizzard starts to treat players like adults, some subtlety would be great, to begin with.

I bet Inarius will be the final boss, because he is a reference to Satan. - he is a archangel - is hateful/fearful towards humanity because they are a image of the first being (Anu/God) - gets banished from Heaven to Hell I think he will become leader of Burning Hells at some point.

The story of the first God, angels and demons, and sanctuary, is a masterpiece. If only they would bring that feeling into the game. Terror has vanished from todays games, there's no thrill anymore. It has been replaced by speed, to large rewards too fast, no anticipation or difficulty - and that does not mean HC or enemies with 1x billion health, its more like being underpowered and using your freakin brain to solve the problem, or suffer consequenses. And the genericness, my gosh... 145 "legendary" item of the same type in two hours... yeah feels really special. I fear for D4, and this generation. We need to slow down and truly feel what we are doing.

Only time will tell. My current interests in the game are these. Timeline, the Lords of Hell, Interface, Leveling, Gear, Horadrim, Enemies, Allies, Locations, Inventory, Stats, Abilities, Easter Eggs and Characters. Timeline: How much time has gone by since D3:RoS. Lords of Hell: Does Diablo make a return or his brothers? I can't confirm if Duriel was who we saw. Interface: Will it be similar to D3 or more a balance between D2 and D3. Leveling: Will we have a level cap of 100 or close to? Gear: Will old Legendaries and sets return and what new gear will be found? Horadrim: Will the last member be in this game? Are there new members? Enemies: Any old enemies make a return? Anything new and creative? Allies: Tyrael? Locations: We're talking about all locations from past games. Inventory: Will the inventory be similar to D3 or will it be changed? Stats: Will it be different or the same as D3? Abilities: How many and slots? Characters: Everyone from D3? Easter Eggs: Moo?

Plot twist: the one they revived is actually diablo in lilith's form and it will then be revealed sometime in the middle of the game and the real lilith would work with you and Inarius who has been in the void the whole time with lilith

Diablo needs a soft reboot. The power creep associated with the Nephalem is way too extreme in the lore. It takes something away from the setting's horror, when you're able to crush everything under your boots easily. Defeating Diablo has less impact when you know, that your character is naturally stonger than him.

This was the abridged version of this. Missing some key facts that may alter the lore. First, shes the mistress of deceit in which she used inarius to try to achive victory and end the eternal conflict while inarius was satisfied with just escaping it. The naphalem being the key. After her motherly frenzy and was banished she escaped and went on disguised as a human and tricked a human/naphalem leader named uldyssian into loving her. Eventually over a period of time she was figured out and banished again by inarius who kept watch. By this time inarius was imprisoned and tortured. Lilith wanting any parts of inarius is unlikely and us rescuing inarius as we look for a way to combat lilith is the most probable route. I want to know more about the necromancer who summoned her back and see how it unfolds. Very excited.

Lilith loves her Nephalems though so I hope she's on our side.

The very idea that good and evil are equal but opposite forces is an evil lie. Is a lack of light equal to light? Is a lack of heat equal to heat? Evil is a lack of Divine good. Now sure, for a temporal reality to exist, Divinity cannot destroy evil, but that does not mean evil is its equal. The existence of evil is simply necessary for free will to produce virtue. And for change to happen, imperfection must exist in order to be a catalyst of transition.

Sorry Im a bit confused, so basically Lillith and Inarius had kids which were the Nephelim, and Lillith and Inarius lived in sanctuary along with their followers, and then Lillith was driven insane when she.. thought that the Nephelim might be killed? So she killed all their followers? I dont really get why she did this EDIT: Just went a read a shit ton of lore pages on Diablo lmao, yeah I hope they give us the option to serve Lillith because shes legit like the only one who wants us to return to our state as Nephalem

I did not understand why Lilith went on the rampage and killed everyone. But what I did understand is that Inarus (hope i wrote it write lol) is probably mot very smart emotionally. It felt wayyy too suspicious when he spoke that a demon completely understood him. And a succubus at that... Isn't that what succubi supposed to do? Manipulate people emotions to get what they want... this is sus.

Will we see mephisto, diablo and baal true form? As the result of the black soul stone and Diablo being the "Prime" another thing if so, how did the black soul stone absorbed all 7 evils, and how does mephisto and baal essense corealates with the black soulstone.

In the end of Diablo 3 it makes reference to a good or evil path being chosen by the nephalem. The assumption is there is a hell or heaven path to be chosen maybe the endless war is over when your character destroys all beings of power in the hell faction or heaven faction. The betrayer Lilith looks like the nephelem hell power base and the battle angel inariuos is the nephelm heavenly power base the broken and devorced mother and father power struggle.

Would be funny if it is the nephalem from D3 that released her ^^

While Diablo as the Prime Evil was set free after the death of Malthael, he hasnt taking any form, and the High Heavens, while corrupted, dont have a direct enemy, so my guessing is that Rathma as he believes in the balance of the light and darkness, brought back Lilith as a form to restored the balance.
