How do I get extra dexterity to count apart of my glyphs they got me falling short 😂

your glyphs at 15 for the extra radius? Altars end up giving some extra dex and stats as well which might help. I put an alternate board in the pinned comment that ends up being a little bit more damage. If the above 2 things don't end up working we'll try to troubleshoot it lol

I typically run around with the ice shard enchant. Thanks for checking out the video For those curious why we aren't using the unique staff in this build is due to the way the damage formula works. As we get later and later in levels we stack more of the damage in the big additive bucket and need the larger multipliers on vulnerable and crit to amplify those to get our better damage a majority of the time. Showing freakin glyphs,but you dont show BOARD NAME,for big nabs like me,its a fckin confusing,and all of you guys,doin these video explanations are the same,for example,board STATIC SURGE,does not look the same as mine,nobody explain why is that?Anyway,ty for ur efforts..🤬😡🤬😡

i mean... let's be honest, this is crutching so hard on aspect of control that this could've been a CL build, fireball build, meteor build, ice shards build etc and it wouldn't have mattered.

I agree that the set up can use those other abilities. There are some specifics as to why Charged Bolts is used here instead of the options you mentioned. Want to give a bit more context for the choice with this comment. Will type out my thought process for those that are interested and see your comment in the future. I appreciate the response. Chain Lightning - hits multiple targets for 36% of skill damage at 1 with it bouncing 5 times. You don't have an option of who it hits if you're in a group related fight. Charge Bolts is 30% 5 times on the target of your choice. With us capitalizing off of shatter and the damage that we deal to a frozen target ramping and ultimately spreading to other targets getting concentrated damage where we want helps a lot later on. Fireball - very good core skill for sure. Problem with running this over a shock skill is that you don't get access to unstable currents which helps with the single target bossing situation. Build revolves around cc'ing and staggering for boss mobs so getting as much damage in within that period of time is nice. I do like the the Ice ultimate with cooldown reset. It''s a very good option as well. Charged Bolts does also give you access to the 15% decrease that the enemy can deal to you on top of the 20% from the skill itself if you choose to go down that route Meteor - this can definitely be rotated to more of a meteor build. Due to the reasons above mentioned under fireball I favored Charged Bolts. Meteor is kind of iffy in PvP. A great skill though for sure and I've seen some crazy 9 million damage set ups with it using control Ice Shards - same case as above also I've found that in close proximity my ice shards have been going through targets. Animation lock feels slightly longer than Charged Bolts and I wanted something a bit more fluid. That's a bit more insight into the choice and why I felt it was a bit more optimal for what I wanted for a PvP and PvE set up. Definitely swap up whatever to what you want to play. Unfortunately haven't seen too many sorcerer / sorceress builds that don't benefit greatly from the control aspect. When playing with this set up I often don't need to meteor to clear out packs. For elite packs at 70 and 80 it does help out a good bit. I typically see people running the Fist Of Fate gloves there for the immobilize that eats up the slot or running flame shield augment on boots which then forces you to use your defense offensively leaving you a bit vulnerable. For most basic content it is definitely more damage than needed

I mean thats the Sorc class in general. I'm just confused as so why hes using charged bolt at all if hes not going to use the staff or the aspect for it.

@@healthymindhappierlife5089 bolt's staff is pretty bad in general than another rare with aspect ,"I haven't found any build with sorc that benefits from a unique weapon (fireball ? )."

@@healthymindhappierlife5089 contro6491 is correct the staff for charged bolts isn't great later unfortunately. This is due to the way the damage formula works. Things like Damage to Close, Damage to Injured, Damage vs etc are all additive of each other. Vulnerable Damage is a multiplier of the "Damage to" numbers which then gets multiplied by crit damage which is another multiplier Lets say you have a wand with 20 Damage to CC'd ,60 Damage with basic skill (also additive in the same bucket) and 20 Vulnerable Damage you would add Damage to CC'd together along with the basic skill and then multiply that 20%. The thing with Sorcs is that most of our paragon board increases available are those additive increases from the big bucket. Early game without paragon probably can get away without the big multipliers because we don't have much in the additive bucket yet. There is also another way of amplifying how much we're getting in elemental damage that I'm experimenting with now which will improve uniques a bit but potentially not enough. Going to do the math in the next day or so and regear. Also have to do a new paragon board again for it

@@contro6491 thanks for giving a reply, yea our unique weapons aren't that great with the way the damage calculation math works out. There is a way to minimize the gap a bit but working on figuring out if it will be better in any type of way
