Both item drops and gambling has a chance to give you lower level gear. However, I did notice that with gambling the chances of the item level being closer to your actual level is more common than gear drops. Basically, gambling seemed to yield better results but not by a huge margin. Buying vendor yellow/rare gear was the best way for me to get higher item level weapons. However those would be cost around 500K to 800K depending on your toons level as the price scaled 1 to 1 with leveling. Although, getting gold in this game is very easy. I had over 3 million, just by selling and vendoring useless blues and yellows.
that's an extremely petty and ignorant reason to give a game 5/10 just because it has COSMETIC MTX. That does NOT change the gameplay in ANY SHAPE or FORM. You must hate modern gaming then, I suggest you quit the hobby my friend.
@@GamingInstincts you have to have some serious disconnects if you don’t believe your characters appearance isn’t part of gameplay. The Diablo games have since Diablo 1 been about collecting loot to look badass and show off your power. If your appearance isn’t part of gameplay why even have visual progression in the game. Let’s take it out entirely and make it completely purchasable. That’s what you’re advocating for is it not? Since it has nothing to do with gameplay in your mind it’s okay? Cosmetics in a game who’s entire premise is earning the right to look cool IS and ALWAYS HAS BEEN gameplay.
@@AFpaleoCon No, my friend. No one is having a disconnect here, but you. Having a cool looking skin in Overwatch does not make you do more damage. Yeah, you look a certain way, and that's it. Looking a certain way is NOT gameplay related whatsoever. The cosmetics in Diablo 4 battle pass do not grant you any additional stats. They are purely for looks. It physically doesn't change the gameplay in any shape or form. Now, if they gave a way cool looking armor with actual player power, then I'd have an issue and agree with you. But that's not the case here my friend. It's purely for looks. Every game does this these days. WoW has a transmog and plenty of both in-game cosmetics that you can earn and stuff you can buy in the WoW Shop. None of those things give any player stats. Diablo was always about chasing powerful gear that gave you perfect stats and synergy on your build. Previous games didn't even have a transmog system until later in Diablo 3. You want too see P2W MTX? Go play mobile game, Diablo Immortal is a good example of pay 2 win. Now that battle pass is horrendous because of all player power stuff they sell. You can't even PVP fairly without spending money. It's very dumb.
