Can do more dmg with better stat gear. But so far there is an interaction with how the new pants and helmet work. Essentially, you don't want to attack fast, just let the CL time out before casting again. The damage seems to ramp infinitely (or up to a certain point). Every time CL spins around you, it multiplies more and more. The key is to not spam your abilities, just wait for CL to time out, and make sure you are over 66 mana.
Damage procs can go upwards of over 12Billion if geared properly.
Outside of this item interaction, sorc is in a terrible state. Literally we do next to no dmg in comparison with other classes. Not to mention the poor survivability with ice armor gutted.
