@@german_ocho same price as D3 ROS on release 10 years ago. At the time of ROS release, D3 was still hot garbage. D4 currently is at way better spot than D3 was at ROS launch. Taking inflation into account and, what other games are charging, I actually expected higher prices.

They'd be praying to literally no one, getting no answers and if their powers come from the High heavens, they'd be getting nothing. This isn't lazy writing, it's called story telling. As of right now in this timeline, angels are gone. The high heavens are not doing well right now. To just change that so people like you can have a class? Fuck off. We'll see angels come back eventually, most likely. The fact that Hell is doing what it wants right now because the Greater Evils are still recovering shows us for sure that the angels and heavens are broken as fuck too. So excited for that new class especially with it looking like Aztec themed. I am a bit disappointed we didn't get to fight Diablo in the base game and who knows if we will even fight him in the expansion but yeah looks cool and I am actually surprised they are releasing it so fast and I am not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing... And its refreshing to see players enjoying the game especially since it has come to steam and xbox game pass!

Hey Raxx, your endgame guide you posted last week was super helpful, thank you. Do you have a guide that discusses how powerful you need to be for fighting torment bosses? Like what pit level we should be able to clear before even trying. Are they all the same difficulty more or less? I believe I’ve heard Lilith is the hardest?

I've heard around 85+ pit in order to do Ubers. I figure, they're 200 lvl mobs, so if you can clear 185-200 lvl (85-100 Pit), you should be able to solo Ubers/not be a drag in a group.

the expansion definitely seems interesting. One thing to point out however. It comes out Oct 8th. Season 4 finishes August 6th if I saw right. What do you think will happen in the two months between? A short 5th season? Or just 2 months of silence before new content drops?

yeah.. its just sad that u can achive pretty close to peek power in like a 30 hours.. theey could uncap the level without giving paragon points and maybe just soo random loot soo atleeast u feel like progressing while u doing same shit over and over again .. and give each class atleast 2 good builds that are similar in power.. i just quit the game after a week cuz im bored grinding 1% better gear than i have but atleast they doing something like finally giving us autoloot as pet and stuff maybe in a year with some actually good quality replayable content this game can be preetty good

They are clearly testing things right now game is still in development and maybe one day in future when there will be a actual reason to reach that potential yeah it makes sense to do it but now? No. My rapid fire rogue that i build in one day hits 2b when boss is staggered (still respectful dmg when not staggered as well) like hes not lying about 30hours thing except certain builds that needs to be min maxed to perform at a decent level.

My personal hope: defeating Mephisto at the end of this expansion will actually be an introduction to the "raids". Basically, in the story, you'll have to gather many warriors to enter wherever it is that Mephisto is and there will be a real-time timer that comes up on the screen as "warriors are gathering" or something like that. Then when the timer is done, you launch into a dungeon-raid with 12-15 other players (I'm guessing 16 total). And then you go through a MMO-like raid co-op raid with very powerful enemies. But it ends with a co-op world-boss-style fight against Mephisto ... giving an indication of how much more powerful he is than Lilith and other bosses, etc. Once defeated, it unlocks other raids. I'm hoping the expansion launches with 3-5 different raids at minimum, and they plan to add a raid with each future season.

The new class looks like it might be a Jaguar Warrior. Jaguar Warriors are Aztec in origin. It a special Aztec warrior class. They could use atlatls, Bows, and Spears, and knives. Maybe an Aztec Jaguar Warrior that calls on spirits? It would be cool if its a combo melee /caster class.

But this isn't an MMO there isn't a tank/healer/DPS triangle to make up your team. All the classes do the exact same thing, they just do it in slightly different ways. They damage monsters, they heal themselves and they protect themselves. But they don't do anything for the players around you not really not liking an MMO. So it's really not going to matter if the full team are all playing the same class, they will be doing the same thing, damage. Which is exactly what would be happening if four different classes were in a group together. They all be doing the same thing damage.

They haven't gotten a season right yet. This last season was the most boring seasonal content. Kill in helltide, turn in for reward. Rest all went to Eternal. There is no PTR so for sure balance and costs and skills after level 15 will all be off

@fedekapo6 no. The SEASON content was just turning rep into an NPC. It was garbage. They had a PTR which they won't have for expansion. They had to adjust costs of everything because they limited the drops. Pretty obvious miss. They already revamped helltides twice before getting where they did with the current helltide version. They add the helltide to get forced overworld play, then add PIT taking people out of overworld, and add Goblins event to NM which no one does past glyphs. It's all disconnected. They keep making and breaking builds, of course, that won't ever change. World Bosses they updated so they won't die immediately, which they still do. They made Avatar of Zir and leaderboards which almost no one really card about how they were implemented. The best change was the codex update, which came from someone in chat during an early campfire. Trust me, a lot for them to mess up.

I'm sure with third expansion we will get paladin. I bet the third expansion will be about diablo. Who better then Paladin to pair with diablo exp, glowing all white and shinny as he's going deep into the hells depths, illuminating his path as he walks towards diablo due to how shinny his armor is. You get the idea. My guess as first exp is memphisto, exps will be about prime evils, giving them each an expansion so second exp be baal and lastly since the game IS called " diablo 4" meaning the last big expansion will be Diablo as the game is about diablo. Always was. Then I have no freaking idea what they plan on doing with Diablo franchise. Maybe let D4 into post expansion mode where they'll be just making seasons with minor stories with unique gameplay spin offs.

40 bucks seems pretty standard to me. Before inflation this probably would have been 30 bucks. They also have a bundle with the base game and expansion for 70 bucks which is actually a decent deal if you haven't bought the game.

The highest tier is basically a "buy 3k platinum, you get these other goodies for free," so a no-brainer if you're already going for the mid-tier and likely to spend that money in the future. But with seasons costing ~$3 for the battle pass (assuming you collect the ~700 platinum from the previous season's pass), that's a good 2.5 year's worth and therefore only really useful if you're going to buy cosmetics. Or, of course, you want the tiger....

I'm just stoked to be going back to the Torajan Jungles. Seeing Kurast again, possibly completely reclaimed by the jungle now. Seems Mephisto just can't escape the region. Wonder if Blizzard will ever take us to Xiansai, Skovos Isles, or the Dreadlands. So odd to see Blizz create a map and never use all the regions made. Conversely, something like WoW comes along where they keep creating new regions and crowding Azeroth with all these new landmasses.
