Harrogath brings so many memories back. As an 11yr old finally getting to act 5 and then hearing that music, you knew something big was waiting for you.
And it sucks that was destroyed after Worldstone shattered by Tyrael and also the decline of the Barbarian as they all moved to Bastion Keep and assimilated with the nobles there to continue their bloodline.
Whenever you hang around Tristram for too long and THIS part starts -> 22:57 .. it's the most beautiful thing ever. Just listen to that. There is so much mystery and lore in the music itself, almost like the sound spheres tell you a story by themselves... and then comes 24:34 ... no words.
@@jaysahup6563 LOL, I suggest you try some different games. D2 was good back in the day but has been surpassed in just about every way by several other games.
What an absolutely ominous sound track. The music plays such a part in establishing the atmosphere of Diablo 2. To this day, no game has made me feel the way I felt playing Diablo 2. It just captures the atmosphere of truly living and fighting Hell so wonderfully, thanks in part to a just perfect soundtrack.
Diablo 2 score: Dark and uncanny. You felt vulnerable in an unpredictable storyline in which you where desperately blasting your way down to hell to stop the Prime Evil. LOD Score. Heroic and Endgame like. Hope comes up to be a real thing. You could feel that mankind and divinity was trusting in you to give everything, until your last breath, for finishing things up once and for all .
Diablo 3 Score: Even more Heroic sounding, giving more World of Warcraft vibes then the past two scores and heavily using dramatic music to bring up the tension of a scene less in the favor of feeling vulnerable, but more in the power sense as you fight the forces of hell.
This music fits literally any game I play. I can be playing something unorthodox for this music like Capitalism 2 Lab or Eve Online and it just... fits.
I live in Slagelse in Denmark... Eternal pain in Hell will be a better place for me, and oh dear Lord cast and condemned me to Hell as soon as you can... If Slagelse is Heaven, please take me now, and burn my soul forever... Didn't sleep that good like ever, for hours... THANKS!!! THIS did it..... THANK YOU SO MUCH...
Weird how so many people can just throw up an identical copy of the DII soundtrack and get a hundred thousand views. What a waste our current world is, but I'm here listening.
Am I the only one who thinks that the music of act V sounds alot like the music from LOTR? I hear Rohan, Moria and some other themes. Both soundtracks are awesome, I would like the idea that Howard Shore is a fan of the Diablo-games :D
