Whenever I watch your videos I feel like I’m in a class with the best teacher. That’s how detailed and organized you are when addressing common questions and mistakes. Thank you!
nice, i only upgraded one paragon tree, didnt realise not activated ones give the passive attribute points :D im currently paragon 400 (still a newbie - playing for a week)
What were the odds of seeing one of his video and changing my build to his recommendations and then him inviting me into a random party out in the library of zoltun kulle 😅 Best guy ever!
This is a great vid! I started playing 3-4 months ago and im always coming back to this vid to make sure my character is done right with as little newb mistakes as possible lol
Im happy u find the video useful. Using normal reforge stones works fine. Otherwise you can use the tip in the video. I am only using normal reforge stones now but it takes a long time to get it perfect 😃
I've been playing Diablo Immortal for 3 weeks solidly at F2P and realised that I nerfed my character in many ways. I am booking this video as a permanent reference guide. You deserve a shrine, thank you!
Ok, I’ve continued my ocd quest to watch all your videos in chronological order 😂, and I’ve just watched this one through part 3 (sets). I’d like to ask if you’ve been made aware since this video that: A) just like damage buffs, movement speed buffs don’t stack: only the highest applies, and B) your actual movement speed scales 1:1 with your size, which isn’t reflected on your character sheet, and doesn’t affect either the “soft”passive movement speed cap of 20%, or the “hard” total movement speed cap of 70%. Based on A, I would recommend choosing only one movement speed buff (eg a class skill or essence buff, massacre, issatar, windloft). Dashes are independent of movement speed, so can be added to help you move around even faster. So a speed-focused necro farming build might include *either* standard wraith form *or* strange sojourn with massacre or 2 issatar. Based on B, I think the reduced size negative cursed properties are still too insignificant to worry about, but a protector wb room buff with the 15% size remnant is actually a *very* compelling option for speed farming! The only reason to choose the 5% movement speed buff would be if it helps efficiently cap a 4 issatar damage bonus. Even then, you’d have to consider whether 2.5-5% more damage or 10% more movement speed is more important to you for speed farming. Sources: Zonshini’s channel! (Is it possible to post links to videos in comments?)
A) Yes 😃 It is sometimes good with 2 different buffs though to make sure that at least one buff is active more often 🙏 You will see a necro OW build later that is really fast😃 B) I usually use both protector room and warden paragon for this exact reason 😃 Your size is increasing your base speed so buffs become more potent as well. 130% of 100 is 130 (+30) While 130% of 120 is 156 (+36) Thanks for awesome input and plz share more insights in the comments whenever you want to 😍 Have a great day!
@@Auroth_DII’m working on a video on movement speed, including the points we’ve discussed here. In the meantime, I am fielding questions related to damage on my channel. One viewer asked how I got 30k damage. After briefly explaining, then trying to redirect their focus, they said they’d seen players with a “strength level” over 9k, and asked if over 10k was possible. My response was, “Strength level? You mean how much strength they have? Strength is even less of a factor in your total dps than damage is. Strength is just one factor that influences damage, and damage is just one factor that influences dps (the important thing). Strength is such a small factor in dps that I don’t even pay attention to how much str I or anyone else has, or how much it’s possible to have. I’ve mentioned some of the more important things to focus on to actually maximize your dps: critical hit chance, critical hit damage, %damage modifiers, etc. If you want more info on how to actually kill things faster, not just look at bigger numbers on your character sheet and wonder why you’re getting out-dps’d by people with lower numbers, definitely check out auroth’s dps guide.”
Terrific video indeed! Maybe something worth noting is that if you have the same reforge on all 8 pieces of gear, proc change becomes 16%, and CD becomes 9 sec. At least for Vengeance
I love you bro, amazing video, my respect for you. I light f2p (like 50 bucks since game launch i invested) and have 2210 resonance, my damage is higher focusing critical hit chance and then Critical hit damage. Critical hit damage is undervalued cause is like to get extra armor penetration. Greetings.
This looks amazing. I wonder though if it would be more helpful if you had split it in to separate videos, so that viewers can watch the most relevant videos to them.
Thats why I have divided this video into segments. If you look at the time bar of the video u can see the timeslots for each of them. That way you can go straight to the information you are interested in :)
Fully agree, thank you for making it effective and clear. It's just that I was thinking of most casual audience who take one look at a 2hr video and shut down their brains @@Auroth_DI
@@user-ns3ey9bm4k Yes you are correct that this might be the case for some people. At the same time my target audience is those who are a bit less casual and who are interested in optimizing certain aspects of their builds. After thinking about it I made a decision to make an extensive guide instead of several smaller ones. I think this will make it easier for those who wants to focus on the details so they do not have to look in many different places for information 🙏
@auroth has the purge the depths exit strategy been effected by a patch? I've followed your advice and some others on remnant farming. However, if I go into a purge and exit before finishing, I'm getting a new layout, not the one that was abandoned, when I try going back in to that purge.
Nice video, I do implement almost all of these things, learned a few more :) Could you make a video about how to optimize getting Paragon 1000 as soon as possible? Especially, when to release bp points and sell the fishes? I know new raids and gauntlets give first clear xp rewards which is not reduced by paragon level. But when should one pull the trigger when it comes to using all the saved xp?
Thanks a lot for the nice feedback. That is a very good idea. I will not be able to finish that video in time for 1k paragon(but maybe in the future) due to other projects in the pipeline and a lot of work IRL 😃
Hello buddy, Thank you for your kind words. Check my other videos for some necromancer tips. I am currently working on a PvP video but I am very busy IRL atm so it takes a bit more time.
Beneficial effect duration on feet, waist, legs and chest. For neck, rings and gloves you should either look for cd reduction or a relevant dmg modifier. (I as necro look for 10% summon dmg). Ofc movement speed can also be good for dungeon speed runs so it depends a bit on the content.
My main character is a necromancer and I'm on the struggle bus big time. Would you ever consider some 1 on 1 time with assisting someone with giving specific advice?
