Unfinished and unrefined paragon board as my paragon glyphs are not Max

With the buffs to overpowered and introducing vampiric powers along with some nice uber uniques, blood lancer is in my opinion stronger than Bone Necro this season as I do not need to kite due to high health 44k with fort and DRs see mapping gear swap below.
Having played the trifecta, Bone, infinimist, Blood lancer,
Blood lancer is the best among the three popular builds. It has more single target damage and thanks to high HP + DRs, allows it to tank many hits from monsters in NM T100 Dungeons.
For helltides/blood harvest, a simple swap from blood lancer to blood surge , decrypify to iron maiden is good enough to speed clear everything around you.
For Tier 100 Speed runs :
Swap helm with Legend helm (Max Health Armor Resistance Basic attack speed)
Swap DPS Chest with 3 DR + Max Health Chest
Swap Offhand with Shield (2 DR +Max Health + Crit) - Explosive Mist aspect
Unspec death reach 3pts and pump into corpse explosion to maximize explosive mist aspect

been destrying with the same build since launch basically, just using slightly different V.powers and i swap hungry blood for grasping veins when im mapping. seen masive crits while machinegunning lances is pretty sick

ok this was a dope build. i took some liberties with the build by just changing some aspects i liked more than what was given but i was able to finish Lilith after some trial and error. My glyphs were only 15 across the board but i did have the "Flickerstep, Banished Lords Talisman, and Bloodmoon breaches. Also for some asking you can do NM dungeons comfortably up to like 80 but what worked for me, for those NM Dungeon runs, was using iron maiden while i was leveling glyphs.

Build is definitely unoptimized but it was more than enough to finish lilith even with some glyphs on lvl 1. Did in in 3 tries. Cheers!

I'm currently using a very similar build except with a two-Handed sword and no grasping veins (no room for it). But I'm thinking in change to wand and focus as well. I would lose some base and gore quills damage, but I would gain lucky hit, attack speed, critical chance and damage. It seems to worth

The extra attack speed, lucky hit and cdr you get with wand and focus feels way more impactful than the extra damage of two hander imo. I was using a two hander as well and decided to switch once I hit world tier 4, made a big difference

This build is mainly for bosses. So Duriel works as well. Just make sure you have high poison resist if you are carrying solo in a 4 man group.

This season heavily buffed XP and has more areas where you can gear up (blood harvest). If you play 6 hours you can probably hit 70 in a day casually without speed running. Level 100 in 8 hours if you speed run min max.

Blood orbs from your left click basic atk and from each blood wave (3 blood orbs). Believe there is some other interaction that spawn a bloodorb on enemy hit or something . Can't really recall the exact mechanic off the top of my head sorry.

Just saw that u specced into the corpse explosion branch but you dont have it on ur bar but instead have corpse tendrils, care to elaborate a little bit? I'm new to using the Necromancer, thx!

I actually have that on for my T100 mapping build. Swapping to a shield with the aspect that consumes corpse to reduce blood mist cooldown. If you want purely for lilith, you could unspec those and pump it in the +essence node but it doesn't matter much.

@@R3TR1BUT1ONz Sadly minions still fall short compared to other builds. Even the nerfed bone (1hand with lidless) is miles better than minions/blood minions in terms of tankiness and DPS. issue with minions is it has no good AOE clear and no way to force minions to target a specific area. Once blizzard implement that, I believe minions can be as good as other builds.

They pause at each aspect/gear/etc that you'd nead. I'd recommend going back through and pausing at each to read through. it is all there.

Just killed Lilith the first time as I can skip most of her mechanism with this great build. y Godslayer Crown and the Banished Lord Talisman is low stat only and both my link doesmt have Overpower Stat. Imagine with full gear how fast she will melt🤪. Will the Godslayer Crow grant bonus damage to boss like Lilith? It say the bonus to "Them" after damage the boss, is them include the boss herself?

How on earth do you survive with no disobedience, no barrier, so few defensive rolls, etc? Or do you need to change up a lot in order to do NM instead of Lilith?

this build was done on day 3 of the season. So no the malig ring was not out. Build is not min max and has lots of room for improvement as shown in the half baked paragon board and lvl 1 glyphs lol. Sacrilegious ring is good and should be used in all necro builds simply because of additional corpse tendrils cast every 8s on top of your active skill + Grasping Veins aspect = 100% uptime on corpse tendrils + additional crit chance from grapsing veins. From current testing. Infinimist DOT > bone > bloodsurge > bloodlance > other meme necro builds.

I see you pick 22.5 overpower node close to Aggression rare node over +5 willpower node for the dominate glyph(same board). Each point of 5 willpower would grant you 39.5% overpower and would be better. Gotta squeeze out the little extra sir :P

Critical question: is it gonna work post s2? 'Cause I was running a s1 blood lance with "auto" decrepify and CE, only to realize that the build worked just for that season. Tried to play with it this season in eternal realm and oh boy. 😔 What a waste of time, materials, character slot, everything.

Technically it should work in the Eternal. Nothing on the build direct would be removed post season. The Vampuric powers just buffed mobility, damage and fortify. None of them were critical to the build. As long as you're able to farm all those uniques you can still play this post season.

Vampiric powers and hearts will likely return in some altered form based on blizzcon leaks (unconfirmed as of now). Blizzard is clearly not done with balance in general, so we will see alot of nerfs to players or buffs to enemies by season 3, so it's unlikely the meta of today will stick around in season 3. Enjoy it for the 3 month.

From my limit testings so far. Bone is much safer in a sense that it covers a larger area. Blood lance playstyle in T100 requires proper skill usage and spears precision since it is a single projectile compared to 3 of bone.

i finally hit 100 this month and thought i could kill her with my blood lancer. but although i have 2700% overwhelming dmg i don't do crits like this. Unfortunately i don't play the season, but in eternal realm. Is that a big problem? My highest crit on lilith was maybe 2 mio.

yea the vampiric powers plays a huge part in giving attack speed and ways to trigger vul. I reckon without vampiric powers it is still doable however you will have to dodge some waves and mechanics (assuming you have same gear affixes and roughly same stats as I do in terms of crit/critdmg/OP dmg etc)

Where do you get survivability from when all your gear are pure damage and max hp? So just lots of hp and all the fortify from blood skills? Also, before you get decked out in uniques how was the lancer doing against bosses?

For uber lilith I went slightly more glasscannon with the unique helm + pure DPS chest. For T100 speedruns, I swap to a legend helm with disobedience + 3 DR+ maxhp chest. Regarding your 2nd qs, it was melting bosses too ! And I can just stand in place unlike bone where you have to kite. I tried all builds in this order : Blood surge (leveling to 50) , Infinimist 50-75, Bone 75-85, Blood Lance

How do you have 70% crit chance on your character stats, yet only 35% on your gear? What makes it double ? I have almost the same build yet I cannot achieve 70% Crit.Chance. I have almost the same build except I use bone storm for fortify and extra OP damage. My OP on the character page shows 3300%, yours 2700% yet you deal 5-11M damage, while I deal like 2-4M. :-) I like this game because it is consistent.

Use cruelty elixir. I deal additional multiplicative DMG when I consume blood orbs produced by blood waves (paragon).

Perfect execution will be grasping veins (pre prep corpse)> decrypt> 4 basic hits to proc moonrise + ravenous> bloodwave > blood lance and pray it melts lilith in that 1 combo. Tight execution for the first few steps.

A few tries. Even if Lilith flies up, the subsequent mechanics is easily avoided by timing blood mist and dealing enough dps to wipe the minions spawned and get her to 0. Amulet is key for this build as it gives a significant damage boost on overpower hits. Otherwise you will need DPS amulet (+tides of blood +coalased) + damage amulet and any of the decent offensive aspects

I tried both + infinist and I think this is slightly faster for single target given the same level of glyphs (check end of my video to see my paragon glyphs only 1 level 15 glyph lvl 13 and rest unfinished due to laziness )

And tanky. So basically just face tank > decrypt> corpse tendrils + ulti > spam blood lance > corpse tendrils + ulti (cooldowns refresh fast due to boots evade + attacks) [repeat till dead] Easy clear T100 mobs + Boss . Do not need to kite at all.

You can basically do what I did with exact unfinished board though with not even max leveled glyphs. Unless you plan to do a lot of uber lilith carry runs then I guess you gotta wait for some big brain guy to cook some stuff up for you. I am focusing on other characters now atm sorry.

Because he hit her for so much damage it skipped that part when fighting her. Its a known thing. At some point in all boss fights they change up how they fight but if you deal more damage to them it will skip that transition or fighting style.

@@AcrossTheSea12 Well he is lvl 100. After lvl 50 you can start putting things towards the paragon board. That's what contributes to making him so strong. So based on my question I think it's a very fair question to ask. Maybe that build doesn't work for level 1 to 50. I don't recall him saying in the video to use this skill(s) to lvl 50 then change them after lvl 50.

yeah attack power is not a good gauge. It's the multipliers that is key in getting high DPS.

@@ItchyBackside yeah i just realized my build suck it is being hard on tier 70 and i am getting one shot all the time i focused intelligence and attack power , 1100 intelligence 20k attack power means nothing i will just rebuild instead of blood overlord summoner i am thinking to build bone necro

I believe I still can shave off a few seconds off the first phase if I have all my paragons lvl 15 or lvl 21. Perhaps a few seconds more if I have pretimed my execution of corpse tendrils by preping a corpse on the shooting spot from dying. I think once the next mini patch hits where they include target dummy. Then we can really showcase the DPS difference. (I played both) Otherwise, it is hard to convince people since they don't take into account paragon levels which has a huge DPS boost.

Nice boss. With so unbalanced mechanics that Blizzard themself has to nerf her and put up imbalanced builds in the game in order for players to be able to skip her mechanics. Now finally every class has a broken boss build, and incompetent people are able to do her. Boss mechanics are officially irrelevant, so it doesnt matter if they are unfun or unfair.

Yea I miss the pre-season uber lilith where it was challenging. Sadly blizzard has to nerf it to allow the Dad gamers to have a chance at uber lilith

@@ItchyBacksideit is not about dad gamers. It was unfair even for good gamers. I once died after 15 minutes of fight after I killed her and her wolverine attack that she does already dead one shot me even if I was trying to evade it, but there was no space for it because of blister souls going around. It simply is a badly designed fight. It can one shot you and you can do nothing about it. One shot mechanics with RNG are not good fights. That's why people now do her by skipping the mechanics.
