What do you think about the new Tempering/Masterworking systems and curious how your experiences have been with it. Total cost for the enchanting/masterworking 1,437,949,687 gold.
Also, I want to ask you something. What are your observations about replacing +3 Malice with +3 Weapon Mastery, since for Heartseeker builds, weapon mastery, by virtue of using a bow for higher attack speed thresholds also give stackable vulnerable damage, almost, if not more than proportionate values of Malice. What it also gives, which Malice doesn't, is the extra bit of flat damage from equipping two swords. I just want your thoughts on this. Of course, Exploit is the ideal passive affix best-in-slot...I am just wondering between Weapon Mastery, Frigid Finesse, and Malice, what would be the hierarchy, assuming you can only pair one of three with Exploit.
They need to rework the cost of enchanting and the amount of mats you get for the pit, The tempering needs to be changed, RNG is fine but when you have RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG on top of cost, Yeah that's a hell a lot of RNG+Cost, Last Epoch has by far the best iteration of crafting in the ARPG genre, Blizzard dev's need to look at it and come up with something similar, I love Diablo games but the cost of getting a build is stupidly high priced.
But getting 2 solid passive rolls is monumental, my friend...the base amulet itself wasn't a bad find to begin with. Worth the investment, I would say...i only have two of these three passive affix crit rolls, with a plus 5 exploit and the other on frigid finesse..and that also took almost 500 mil worth of aggregate investment. Amulets are a tough bunch.
I'm going through the same thing and amulet rolling has been rough. Thought I'd share that when clicking enchant > no change > replace affix > close, you actually don't have the click "close". If you just click behind Enchant, it will auto close that window. So new steps would be Enchant > No change > Replace Affix
This video was really insightful. Can’t believe you hit both tempers in 1 try each though! I need that luck. Bricked some awesome 2GA crit and lucky hit gloves because I couldn’t get vulnerable
From my experience, as your video correctly allude to, amulets are the hardest item to perfectly assemble, from affix assigning to masterworkinh it suitably.
Got a Base ammu with 2 to exploit and 1 to frigid Finesse i think thats actually really good to begin with as i saw now in your Video. But to get malice on it i Just dont have the gold. My ammu ist already at 5mil per emchant and got nothing i need so far. Seems Like i have to sell some of my stuff to get enough gold. If i get the 2 malice on it it would actually be a perfect Amulet. Will definetly try to get it but im Not really a social Guy in D4. I hate it to have to meet with the buyers i dont know personally. But as i saw in your Video it seems Worth it for the drop i got Today. Thanks for the Video!
I feel it Boys.. Today i logged in and prepared myself for alot of Trades.. i sold my awesome paingorgers for 400mil and prepared again for a heavy emchant Session over the cost i could offer. Then i did a Casual whisper and you wont believe what dropped.. got a GA exploit and rolled malice +2 for only 25mil. The other stat is LH what i needed anyways. Sometimes the D4 gods Bless you i guess No? Wish you all the best for your emchanting Sessions!
I've played quite a bit this season and I've only seen 1 amulet with 2 passives on it. That was a sacred and not good passives. The amount I've seen with even 1 passive is pretty low too. Just finding one with 2 passives you want is insanely lucky and then getting the tempering, enchanting, and masterworking to go your way is a massive investment. Truly BiS items should be difficult to get though so I'm not opposed to it.
its all random, 2 days ago i got the exact same amulet as him except its 1Ga and frigid 2 and Malice 3. i rerolled the third useless stat twice and got 2 exploit, its not impossible just purely random luck
@@bcatbb2896 I rolled a random amulet early in the season and had the same thing happen, exploit in the first 5 rolls. Grats on the roll, that's a nice one.
I prefer tempering and master working but they need to allow resets on tempering. It has to be expensive to reset so it’s still a let down when you brick an item but Diablo drops those 3GA pieces with correct affixes so rarely they should add resets
This is my favorite solution as well. Make it a high cost that you wont do very often, but at least leave the door open so the choice is there if you want it.
Victimize is double dipping with most damage multipliers and Exploit has the most value for it. Exploit > Malice > Frigid is the order of priority. Malice is good, but Exploit adds 6% x damage for 55% of the bosses life, vs 3% x for the entire fight.
How much do you play to get those MW mats :O I think the amount you get from the pit is so fking low and thats the sole thing that makes this system a chore
Inspired by you vid. bought a 2 weaponmaster 2 expolit amu and rolled frigid finese. Managed masterwork crit x 3 on exploit. Do you think should I reroll frigid to malice?
I think so but honestly not sure, I know Malice > Frigid so I would assume you would. Will slow trash clearing down a bit though, so it depends on what your looking for. Frigid helps with clearing while Malice is great for boss damage and overall dps.
Exploit and Malice double dip with Victimize which makes them currently better, for Heartseeker. Wont be the case in Season 5 though since the double dipping with Victimize is getting fixed.
Man my amulet is 12/12 with 2 on malice and one on FF before I rolled the third affix to exploit (took like half a billion) and I’m absolutely dreading having to restart the MW to get it on exploit
I couldn't temper dodge chance on my amulet that has exploit and malice. I got armor instead after like 3 max life's and also, I rolled the lowest possible vuln damage smh. Will this make a big difference?
i got a amulet with GA Frigid finesse nailed the tempers i wanted and got it to hit twice on Frigid with the master work. I'm afraid to roll it to lvl 12 lol
@drag0nxi Why is Exploit better than Frigid or Weapon Mastery. With one-shot mobs, yes, Exploit is better, but if you farm high-level pits, you need to hit a lot and it turns out that from 80% to 35% HP, the passive does not give anything at all
Frigid does nothing on bosses until the stagger phase. Exploit and Malice are basically tied, with Exploit slightly better. Weapon Mastery isn't bad, but its only 3x vs 6x on 55% of the mobs life. Also there is a bug with Victimize that it double dips damage and I believe Exploit and Malice benefit the most from it.
@@Drag0nxi Interesting, thanks for the reply hmm Malice x3% per lvl Weapon Mastery x4% Why is Malice better if it's exactly the same skill but with a lower score? and why Exploit and Malice benefit the most from bug? Exploit turns off for 45%hp
@@maksevsiukov1510 Because Malice scales your Vulnerable sheet damage, which is what the Victimize bases its damage from. Weapon master doesn't scale your sheet Vuln damage. Bulk of our boss damage is done during stagger phases. Watch the last 18 seconds of this 125 Pit boss to see what exploit does. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iuXh2k_QHGg.htmlsi=Ov2eyiQbndBoKneE&t=896
Helltides is the best source for that. Basically Helltides is where I got 90% of my raw mats from. Ran them off and on for about a week before I made the video. Those Spires that you can click on and stay in the circle, if you can stay in the circle for the full duration, that also drops a lot of angelbreath.
@@Drag0nxi I did helltides for 2-3 hours straight and got about 500+ angel breath .. you have 5-6k how many hours were you in the tides for .. Impressive!
Your not wrong at all. I spent about 2k mats trying to roll lucky hit to vulnerable on ring and still can’t get it .. I’m not sure if I should even try getting more angelbreath now
Yeah its definitely frustrating with how low the passives are weighted on drops and re-rolling for them. I was saving a lot of amulets with +2 and was planning on rolling each one about 10 times. If I didn't get the passive, trash it and go again. But you need a lot of amulets for that, or you could get lucky.
Weights should definitely be adjusted for passives and + to skill ranks, far too low currently. I'd imagine for most players who don't have a lot of time to play, systems like this seem so out of reach that its not even worth trying.
The proof that those who created this behaviour/logic have no clue what bad things are sharing on open public and what impact has on players. …unless it’s intentionally made with that purpose.
With controller I hit Y Y . On M&K there is a small box to click on, to the right of your item in the masterworking screen, that will bring up the reset menu.
@@brent1143 Doesn't refund anything if you reset. It costs 5 mil, 30 iron chunks, 20 veiled crystals and 5 forgotten souls everytime you reset, which adds up quick.
Yeah I hear ya lol. It's not exactly crafting, but its what the devs call it so I just kinda stuck with it. I hope real crafting is added to the game eventually.
And what is your idea? Find a Item klick on it and pufff Max Stats? Then all guys will Cry to. Whatever blizzard do, they cant make it right. You will always hate.
@@DooM1981x Whenever I see a comment that goes along with things like "Find a Item klick on it and pufff Max Stats?", "cry", "hate", etc. Right away I know I'm talking to either a kid or a grown man with a brain under development which is even more pathetic because at least a kid have an excuse.
