lol, yeah that's right Epica's new song is good. I've never been big into symphonic metal but I'm appreciating it more and more. This band has a metallic edge for sure.
I'm seeing a lot more symphonic metal bands take the more metal side that Epica is doing and not fearing being heavy and having riffs. Which is a good thing I mean it's called symphonic metal. When Therion started it they still stayed metal and that fact that Epica did not fear the heavy side I like that band such as Delain, DiM and Xandria are doing that.
TFW the imitator releases a better track than their inspiration in the same day. Still I'd like to hope most of Epica's new album is a lot closer to Universal Death Squad than to Edge of the Blade.
I love how after the first chorus there's nearly 2 minutes of pure instrumental awesomeness with some choir backing, before a chorus hits again towards the end. SO F*CKING GOOD!! Not that I mind the other parts of the song. ;)
Otro álbum que tiene muy buena pinta, ya el anterior me gustó mucho, por fin una banda de metal española que merece y mucho la pena Deberían de haber sido los teloneros con Nightwish en Madrid
Madre mía solo de imaginar que ellos hubieran sido los teloneros en vez de Alquimia se me ponen los pelos de punta... Ojalá hubiera sido así ya que yo ni siquiera conocía a Alquimia hasta que no fui al concierto y en cambio Diabulus In Musica siempre me ha gustado.
Bloody Nightingale Hubiera sido uno de los mejores conciertos, yo por desgracia no pude ir a verles, pero eligieron fatal a Alquimia de teloneros, además Diabulus In Musica son del mismo estilo y pegaban a la perfección, para mi es el único grupo en toda España que vale la pena y no el rock calimochero que tenemos sin talento ninguno
Oh okei! I've never been interested in this band before but damn it.. This and Crimson Gale just seriously caught me and her vocals sound like those in the anime Another intro. Love it.
I too clicked this solely because of their band name. Well now that the band had got me on essentially Clickbait, let's see how the song holds up. .. I got through the whole song. Not bad. Will have to listen to a few more.
Don't take it the wrong way, but I find it quite insulting to compare metal bands like Diabulus in Musica and Nightwish to Evanescence (even if the vocalist has a decent voice).
La banda española q se mantiene al margen de cualquier crítica. Such a great sound from this Spanish band and I gree it has the same kind of elements like Epica but who cares!
¿El disco se venderá en España o solo queda comprarlo fuera? ¿Qué ventaja tiene el pre-order? ¿Pena que no haya vinilo también. La canción es ecelente y arreglos e interpretación al nivel de cualquier banda internacional.
A mi es que siempre me han encantado. Zuberoa tiene todo lo que me gusta en una voz. Me gusta cuando usa su voz lírica, pero también cuando no lo hace. Da igual que la gente diga que se parezcen a Epica, para mi Diabulus In Musica es mejor en todos los sentidos!
Totalmente, para mi también son mejores, y yo también amo eso de la voz de Zube, es una excelente cantante que a diferencia de otras, si sabe lo que hace, siente pasión y su voz es hermosa y va mejorando, no es conformista

Actually "diabolus in musica" is the name of a special chord in music, which was forbidden in middle age and renaissance, because it sounded "evil" and "satanic". It's the chord you can hear on Black Sabbath's "Black sabbath" track. Really, really creepy when it's well used.
Vine a escuchar esto porque supuestamente era mejor que el material de Epica pero me encuentro con un material idéntico a Epica solo que cantado por otra mujer ¿Quién entiende a los haters? PD: eso no quiere para nada decir que la canción es mala, todo lo contrario es muy buena
On intense sections, lows sound somewhat compressed and highs are artefacting quite badly. When it's contrasted with cleaner sounds just before, it's easy to spot, especially on the 1:40 transition. Song is still awesome though \o/
Just became an Epica copycat , same riffs , same vocal type with less range capicity , many bands are deprived of personnallity but here it is easy to frame
