100% agree I wore Diadora. I've just got my son in Nike Tiempos. It's all synthetic nowadays.

ya, you have to get Copa Mundial a full size down, has to fit tight. Then, they are a fantastic experience! Tied for my favourite boot

I have a pair of that. Very happy with the design and comfort.

Picked up the the pearl white one's for $80 a month ago. They are sweet, but I feel like I should have tried on a half size smaller before I walked out with them.

I have the black pair of the Baggio 03s as also a pair of white Brasils. They have the same soleplate and stud pattern. The Baggios have a slightly more more streamlined shape , especially near the toe area, which looks more aesthetic. The stitching pattern also makes the leather on the vamp ‘puff up’ less. I think the Baggios are about 12-15 gms lighter in my size. However, the on-feet experience is extremely similar.

hey jason, which legend are you wearing? You meant these are a size or a half size larger?

Muhd Saber i wear the legend V in size 8. I had to get a size 7 in the Brasil. The size 7.5 in brasil were just a little bit too big, but if you like that little bit of space in your toe box area, I'd go only a half-size down.

I agree these do run large. I got my usual 9.5 and I had to return them cuz they were too big. Still haven't been refunded

Hey josh I wear size 9.5 in shoes, and in synthentic boots. But for leather i got a 8.5 US. I ordered the $80 X 16.3 Chequered black boot in a 9.5 US, do you think i ordered to low or too high? I understand feel varies but i've worn these before in a 9 US and they got too small so i ordered a half of size up.

Width is one thing, but the length has to be right as well. If the boots are too short, they're not going to really stretch in length.

I have. I like them a lot. Nothing fancy about them, just simple and very high quality.

I think these have nicer leather in comparison to the Legends. They'll be more protective than a thin synthetic boot.

I sent this comment a week ago on your Puma Vigor 1 review. Its okay if you didn't see it, and i got it, they feel amazing, but there is like a little gap between toe box and my foot, It fits and doesn't come off when running.

They're both very comfortable, but also entirely different in regards to fit and feel. The Copa is definitely a more protective boot.

You see how they fit me in the video going true to size. Half a size smaller any they would be too short. It's your call though.

The base on the Legend is a little wider.

These have the nicest leather out of anything in my opinion.

Yes and no. The Legends are much more modern, fit tighter, are more responsive, offer more aggressive traction and is from a technical standpoint, a better overall shoe. With that said, it's not going to put you at any kind of advantage versus someone wearing something old school like these Diadoras. I'm a fan of old school leather boots in general. I'm perfectly happy wearing boots like this, Copas, Morelias, pretty much any high quality leather boot. I would need a lot more time with these to make a call on preference though. For now, my answer is that I like them both very much, although they're very different.

Also, how do you feel the fit compares to the vigor 1? The vigors fit me very well, but I am looking for something with a bit more cushioned touch without too much bulk.

You can't really compare the fit and feel of these to something like an evoPOWER. You want these to fit tight/snug out of the box, and after some wear time they'll stretch and adjust to your feet. You'll get the right fit out of these, but you have to wear them in a little. That's just how old school leather boots are.

I'm right there with you buddy. I prefer the old school vibe as well. Grew up wearing all leather kangaroo boots. It's hard to find subtle all black leather boots these days. These Brasils caught my eye. I find it interesting how you think these are quite a bit different than the legends. I wish I had them side by side to try on myself. My foot is slightly wide, so I am but worried about overstretching. I have a pair of Premiers and they were nice for the first few weeks but overstretched horribly to where my foot rolls over the edge of the sole plate by like a quarter inch. I feel the internal cage on the tiempos may prevent this from happening....maybe?

I personally don't think so.

I would anticipate them holding up really well. They're extremely well made.

That's your call to make. You have to use your own judgement on that. They'll definitely stretch.
