**UPDATE**
The torque on the cone nut is not 20ftlbs, that is the 1st torque sequence. Consult your service manual for actual specs. It should be somewhere between 100 and 140ftlbs for the second torque sequence. I was delirious from the heat when I said that but used the specs in my service manual to torque the cone nut. Sorry for any confusion this caused. This is definitley not an instructional video. It's more of a diagnostic process.

I just experienced the same problem. ABS came on due to rear bearing being shot. I replaced my bearings, but unfortunately, my ABS light is still on so I am guessing that I may have damaged my sensor while riding on the bad bearing. I also put some extra grease in my new bearings. A few other guys told me it was a good idea to do that because according to them....the manufacturers don't put in enough grease which causes the bearings to wear out prematurely. Glad you fixed your problem.

I had more fun watching than you did fixing it. It is nice to see someone attack a problem that they are not familiar with and keep a sense of humor. But man I couldn't hear you through the music part of the time.

@bobbrown2502 Thanks for the comment. I have noticed the music on my laptop doesn't drown out the talking but it does on the TV. Making adjustments in future vids. 👍

The rear axle nut should be torqued to 95 to 105 ft lbs not 20 as you stated in the video

I added that in the description, it was the 1st torque and not the final torque. Good catch! I actually did torque it to the correct spec.

great video! I have an 08 Ultra classic I bought used and all my brakes seem to work fine, but I have the steady abs light on. The previous owner told me about it before I bought it and he said his local HD shop said it was about a $1300 fix, said possibly the ABS Module. but now wondering if its this. Thanks again and great video!

@texasmotorcyclerideradventures some research mentioned that different tire size can effect the speed sensor which would cause problem with the abs your thoughts?
