I watched your videos from the polyglot gathering first and your instruction was excellent. Your content was great, extremely helpful, and you made the presentation a lot of fun. I then watched several more of your videos and they are all very good. My only question is why don't you have at least half-a-million subscribers? I would think that anyone interested in learning a language would jump all over your content. Having studied Spanish and some linguistics in college, your "how to" pointers were spot on. Keep plugging away. By the way, your opening salvo with pretending to be from Argentina was superb! You had me! I hope. your work and your channel continue to grow exponentially.

funny. Learned how to say something in English in an Argentinian accent. lol I already speak English and Spanish very fluently, but this was fun! I want to learn Hebrew, and might try this to learn the hardest damn consonants.

I found this 2 parter just now and found it very helpful because not a lot of people focus on accents in language learning/ acquisition, they prefer to just let it happen as it may. Do you by chance have any videos on your thoughts on how these efforts to notice differences and pronounce things as correctly as possible, translate long term into our speaking in another language? Do you think that after a certain amount of practice it becomes completely subconscious? In some of my language studies I've noticed that I have to continue to focus on every single thing I'm pronouncing and I don't know if it's because they just don't stick as well, or if it's just perfectionism. Great video and extremely valuable because there's hardly anyone covering these kinds of things :)
