Someone can help me please I would appreciate it. I have tried everything I know to I can get the perfect time but I cannot get my dosing right if I put in 18 grams of coffee I'll get say 46 grams of liquid coffee out barista express if I grind finer it will not pour I'm at the verge of it not coming through but still can't get proper dosing thanks
Dosing and time don't really matter. Go by taste. If you like the taste then don't change anything. At the end of the day, Barista Express' grinder is severely limited anyway. So you won't necessarily get the replica brew ratio you're looking for. If you grind finer and it chokes the machine, then grind coarser and go up by .5g dose until you reach a taste you enjoy.
