Gen, you are just a happy soul, I wonder how many of us are watching you play with a smile on our faces! You are just contagious in a good way! Love your videos!
Come on, I love finding tees left behind on tee boxes. I have not bought one tees for years. Sometime I start the round with 2 tees in my pocket, and left with 5/6 tees. Jackpot. 👍👍
This was a treat to watch. Very polished and professional looking from the outfit to the camera work. Excellent balance between technical analysis and fun entertainment value. Gen, you make golf look so easy. The sport needs more ambassadors like you.
Absolutely LOVED this vlog! You make golf look so easy. Its really enlightening to see how you make decisions while playing. Can't wait for the back nine.
No matter what I'm doing or how busy I am, if I see a new vlog from you I will stop and sit down and watch, they are so relaxing. I wish I could play on an empty course like that, must've been so peaceful.
Gen is a beautiful lady with a beautiful golf swing, and a very impressive short game that she will need on the LPGA tour. In particular for this video she teaches the importance of thinking your way around the course to get the lowest possible score.
"Putting good shots in your memory bank"! Brilliant idea! The next time you have a similar shot, you know you can play it. I'm definitely gonna use that thought. Thanks, Gen.
I've been watching you from the start, I think I was in the 600's as a subscriber. I love your energy and love of the game. I still think you need to work on a clock system for your scoring distances! Keep living your dream, love your videos.
If your still in the area, you should try riverplace. If you have access to Twin Creeks you should be able to play there. It's private but still part of the same network Riverplace is pretty challenging
I enjoy watching your videos largely to see how you manage your game. So it was a bonus to see you on Twin Creeks and Avery Ranch since I lived in Austin a long time. I would be interested in what you thought of th Onion Creek Club and especially the original "Legends" `8. Thanks for the enjoyable videos.
64 yards - "I am not good at that shot." Gen, how about "I am more and more comfortable each time I have the opportunity to hit a 64 yard shot." Or, "I am getting better at this length shot amazingly quickly." The power of language! :-) Love your vids!
Forced course management during a practice round is the best way to learn one’s overall game, better than plotting in a book or an app. Very good video!
Whoa!!! That looks like a nice course with huge expensive houses...is it private? You are making some good friends in TX!!! Hahahaha, that bird dive bombed you!!!
Gen, I'm glad you had a good weather day. By July, you are going to be standing over a putt thinking "How do people live in this miserable Texas heat" lol
I flip my tee so far that it’ll be 20 yds away on the next tee box sometimes. And I’ll spend time looking for it because I’m weird and I try to play an entire round with just one tee sometimes just to see if I can
Looking forward to see you using Yardage Book instead of Rangefinder during the practice session. At least recreational golfers like us could see the insight of pro tour when they flipping their yardage book (just to confirm that they do not flipping for the show haha...).
Great video. I really like the course management tips and showing us how to think our way around a golf course. Fairway bunker shot on 17 was impressive. I definitely don't have that shot in my bag. Out of curiosity, how do you practice fairway bunker shots?
Hello Gen, just started following your vids as we just started learning golf about a year ago... Just want to see what sun screen / protection you use? We easily get sun burn / tan hence been searching for good sun protection items / spray.
Thank you for the videos Gen, it must be super tiring for you to run around with a tripod while staying focus on your game and give an on course commentaries. Cheers !
I am NOT Gen but I can tell u something - Malaysia is VERY Humid, your hands sweat & yr whole body too.An ICE cold bear at the 19th hole is very welcome. NIGHT Golf in S'pore is great & NOT so sweaty.CAMERON HIGHLANDS is the best climate to play in Malaysia !
Its an enjoyment to watched your smooth swing gen... and wowwww u've got 4 under for your 1st nine. Hope your 2nd nine will be the same or even better. Lucky u gen coz u can play golf over there while back here in Malaysia, no golfer are allowed to play at all due to MCO 3.0 😭
It was a bad shot because five minutes after acknowledging you aimed to the right, you aimed straight at the bunkers on the right side of the fairway when you said you needed to hit it down the left side.
