My wife learned to recite the entire qur’an at by 9 years old. However, she had no idea what she was reciting other than what someone told her. This is also the case for many native speakers of an Arabic dialect. It’s like person from Guatemala visiting Spain trying to communicate with a Castilian speaking person. Lots of confusion, works not used in one language or the other, same word different meaning = Lost in translation.

When a muslim claims he/she memorized and recites the quran! He/she becomes a good muslim to muslims. However, when a muslim read, study, understand and have the ability to make informed decisions about the quran and islam! He/she becomes an EX muslim and a good human being.
