Diamine Shimmertastic Ink Range 

You really need to use broad and/or wet pens to see the shimmer in these inks. Italics look great to.

At around 14:38 you lifted the paper off of the table and rotated it. Then for about half of a second you could see the shimmer extremely well. Maybe if you ever do another video like this you could do that longer.

Jetpens and Amazon have amazing Glass Dip Pens. I highly recommend those two places to get one.

My university art store stocks some dip pen supplies, mostly made by Speedball. Amazon in the US also seems to have Speedball products.

This video looked very promising but it was actually quite bad.. You can't use a fine nib and expect to show off a shimmer ink... and you've got to turn the papers at much larger angles to reflect light and show any kind of shimmer...

I want them all! It is a shame though that I have to go overseas to get them. Makes for a large shipping cost. Love that Blue Lightning. I am also very partial to nice brown inks, so Brandy Dazzel is a must. I am one of the few it would seem, that likes Diamine Macassar.

you have to shake them before using them. All the shimmer is at the bottom thats why there is none in the writing sample. Plus you really should use at least a medium nib. If not then at least a wet writing finer nib which the lamy al star is not

may i know what the clear containers you placing them in are caller? where did you get them. Thank you

But you hold your pens different so it's maybe better you can test one in a store. These Glaspens equals more Lamy-M (sometimes B) and prefer a slight different writing angle compared to a Lamy-Safari or al-star.

Next time don’t use gridded paper, it makes it hard to see the colours properly.
