i see a lot of ppl voting for DAC and i have to agree. like yes DD package is so f'ng cute and well thought you, you can tell each package there's thought that goes into it. however...at the end of your kit, you don't hang your package up, you hang the actual finished artwork up, and i gotta say DAC totally nailed the quality of the actual kit itself. i say if DD start putting as much effort they put into packaging into their actual kit, they could take on the top dp companies like DAC-

I decided to try Dreamer Designs a few weeks ago and bought this trial kit. I normally only buy DAC kits. I worked on this trial kit for a few days and then decided I did not like it. The picture did not seem to "come to life" as I was working on it. Didn't enjoy it at all. So I put it away. I may try and finish it at a later date, but I doubt it. I will probably end up trashing it. The tool kit was great. The diamonds looked great, but had a lot of static. Some of the colors did not mesh well for me either.

Yes! I see this a lot! Those of us who were spoiled by DAC it’s hard to kind of downgrade! I’ve completed two Dreamer Designs and several DAC I think it’s completely impossible to compare- because there is NO COMPARISON. Lol Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment😊💕

Dreamer designs knocks it out of the park with packaging, but like you, I definitely prefer DAC canvas quality

100% DAC is just next level out of this world. DD has pros- but at the end of the day.. it’s the soft canvas for me! Hahah Thanks for watching💕

I like DD packaging however I’d rather have a nicer canvas than fancy packaging any day that is why I only buy DAC.

I havent tried DAC yet and im so excited to try them. I have had 2 Dreamers and to be honest the packaging is very nice but I wasnt happy with the canvas. My symbols were blurry. I ran out of drills and I had some popping drills which I have never had. Sledding to town by chuck pinson . I hope if any one orders it I sure hope you have a better experience than I had..

I believe that the saturation causing me migraines had a lot to do with my personal opinions. But sure comment about something I said over two years ago 😘

Excellent comparison video friend. I love the idea!! I have completed trials from both companies. Dreamer Designs for sure has the better packaging and tool kit. 💯 I like Dreamer Designs drills, and they have beautiful AB’s. I really enjoyed working on the Liberty Lights trial from DD - however, I have to say that the finished result with DD is never as clear and pretty as DAC!! Never! I really think if Dreamer Designs worked on their charting and colors, shading, etc. that they would be another amazing company. But until they get those issues fixed - I won’t be a repeat customer. 🤷‍♀️

Yes! I agree with everything you said! As far as the larger kits, I have completed at least two kits from each company! And although I had MANY problems with DD not limited but including popping and gapping, fuzzy symbols, headaches from the over saturation- I have to say that the full size kits turn out pretty good. Not perfect but pretty good! As far as DAC I have never had any of the above mentioned issues not once! And I have completed at least 5 DAC kits! Anyways, Thanks for taking the time to comment! @@TheUNCraftyCrafter flamingo falls- that one was a real pain! Haha I took that one soooo slow- I almost couldn’t get through! The headaches with that one were far more severe then confetti the cat, but I think it turned out okay. Lol

I would pick DAC, overall pick turns out just like the picture. Love the canvas, quality. Im spoiled with DAC, ive teied others but find them lacking.

I would have to agree! Dreamer designs definitely has a beautiful tool kit. But given the choice I would go with DAC as well. I’m going to do both of them though and we’ll see!

DD does an amazing job with their packaging. Like an A A+ for that shit. But DAC will always come out on top normally. They have their issues just like anyone else though. I would like to see a comparison of both. Do it😬!!! Lovvee youuu💋

Yes! I have decided sometime in November or December. My plate is full this month lol! But yes DD really does have top notch tool kits but at the end of the day it’s DAC for me. LOVE YOUUU TOOOOO!

I have seen some of the comparisons going between DP companies, but usually they use non-trial kits to compare. I kind of like that you used the trial kit because, even if there is an assumption that the trial kits may not be quality in design and materials, you kind of test that theory in comparing these two. I think DD's idea of "have a kit so that two friends can work together" is a good one. I do like the encouragement of sharing our craft with others. However, on a trial kit, I think the double items make less sense.

Yes! I agree! While I’m not the biggest fan of Dreamer Designs (I have come to like them a lot more as of late due to experiences with other companies) I definitely recognize the superior tool kit- but it definitely doesn’t make sense in a kit of this size. I appreciate the effort though! Thank you once again, for watching and taking the time to comment! Your comments are some of my favorite to read because diamond painting is such a surface level thing- I enjoy having conversations that go beyond surface level!
