Is a 10x loupe large enough to read the GIA number on the girdle?

Hello, what should a diamond be like for an engagement ring that is balanced in all aspects, and can be said to have been an excellent purchase with a budget of 2000 dollars, I would appreciate it. How to order at a jewelry store

how about the crown/pavillion 35.5/40.6 ? Is it a good balance ? Looking at the figure it suggests a more firey stone and higher scintillation but less light return ?

Thank you for your videos... So which diamond is "better", the one with thicker arrows or the one with thinner arrows?? Thank you!

When choosing a diamond, should I look for the ideal arrow pattern when looking at the crown with a microscope?
@JannPaulDiamonds
@JannPaulDiamonds 7 лет назад
Hi John, Yes, you may use the microscope to anaylze the symmetry of the arrow patterning on the diamond. It would be much easier to anaylyze it under the Hearts & Arrows scope ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-osFJilKnh-w.html Do remember to chech your diamond under the Ideal and ASET scope to analyze its light performance. A poor light performing diamond may still have symmetrical Hearts & Arrows. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h4_Mt5jgnzA.html&t

@sivaprakash9372

dayashankar karunamoorthy Its is a blemish : means polish lines are observed in examination. This is external inclusion..

Hi , I have a question about the crown angle and the pavilion angle. So my diamond have 35.5 for the crown angle and 41.5 for the pavilion angle its thar consider its balance?? Thanks
@JannPaulDiamonds
@JannPaulDiamonds 7 лет назад
Hi Tina, for a 35.5 crown and 41.5 pavilion, it is considered a steep/deep diamond. A useful tool you can use to check the proportions is the HCA tool, www.pricescope.com/tools/hca Cheers, JannPaul
