Hey dude you should do a minutemen ending where the BOS and railroad are alive with their quest line almost completed (but without destroying each other). Wanna see their reactions.
I could see her hiding in her shop making the robot do all the trading from then on. She has a hard enough time not arguing the whole town on who she thinks is and isn't a synth in the first place.
no, she just act to survive; trying to prove that she is not a syn with the idea that anyone want to prove that they aren't syn they should buy her stuff The Institute ending: she still welcome them; and I watch a video that she have syn-summoning grenade in her inventory after being killed without Institute ending.
If you do the all three other factions survive there's a small chance that you'll see both Brothers in the BOS and Minutemen in Diamond City at the same time. Which is the only difference from the Minuteman ending in Diamond City.
@@deathstroke8118 join the BOS and be the general of the Minutemen and use the Minutemen to take out institute i was at lest a Paladin rank when i did it i seen them around as well
@@deathstroke8118 You ultimately have to use the Minutemen as the attacking the Institute faction, but so long as you don't get to certain quests in each the BoS and Railroad, as both factions have no way back points, there is a way to stay friendly with all three factions after the Institute is dead. I'll include a couple of guides below that should help you out... @@FerzenTES If you go down the all three factions at peace route then you potentially can get a bit of every faction's content at the same time. The DC Guards will only acknowledge the Minutemen taking out the Institute, as the all 3 at peace requires you to finish the Institute with the Minutemen, but all the faction NPCs can all potentially spawn with their dialogue, sometimes at the same time with everyone getting along. If you finish one or the other without keeping all three at peace, then you'll only get that factions' NPCs and dialogue.
At least there was a change. Some open world games just end completely when you finish the main story while others don't change at all. I love the Witcher 3, but I don't like how at the end of the main story, the world just resets to how it was when the game first starts and the same banners and troops occupy the land no matter who won the war.
The institute ending is kinda dumb, so the people who you first met who shot a man out of the theory he might be a synth is now just all fine with synths running around? No resistance at all after all the trouble they have had from them? Just silly to me .
Post-main quest content? Are you joking? You're asking too much from Bethesda. They would rather have modders add that sort of content and maybe eventually add a few creation club quests which have very little story in them.
You're conflating Gen 3 synths and the issue of being perilously close to human with Gen 1 synths which literally are just robots. Your logic really doesn't work here.
That’s what my cannon ending is my female character she used the minute man as her above ground force and they will be the figure heads for her and the institute will of course help with restoring the common wealth
In my ending only the institute was eliminated. The brotherhood, minutemen and railroad coexisted peacefully. I just did as many quests as possible without destroying a faction so i could experience most of the game and i think its good that the factions can survive. Rilroad is useless but not evil, minuteman is good for the commonwealth and the brotherhood is a much needed army.
The railroad can serve as a CIA like group, the minutemen can serve as the police, and the BOS can serve as the military with all the settlements coming together to form some sort of government now that they don't have to worry about the institute coming to kill them AGAIN
After seeing the airship go down? Nobody in Diamond City would have the balls to resist. Be real about that. When people know you can literally just TELEPORT soldiers in, you're gonna behave.
After seeing the Prydwen in the amazon show, no doubt the BOS ending (or possibly the Minutemen ending where you don't destroy the Prydwen) is now canon. I feel like the writers looked into what the fans were saying and agreed that the Railroad and Institute endings is everyones least 2 favorites.
Institute should just: 1. Make a small base on surface but with Gen 1 and 2 synths. 2. Cook food and give supplies to those who come to them in peace. 3. Prepare jobs and shelter for those willing to earn their keep. 4. Trade supplies with trader. They will spread their location and their existence. 5. Give friendly warning that violence will only be used on the people who started it. 6. Send convoy to clear up malicious group like raiders, super mutant, gunners, and feral ghouls. 7. When the goodwill of the base is spreading, make friendly contact with settlements. 8. Provide technology support to settlements so they can get more food and water. 9. Establish school in settlements so newer generation is more educated. 10. Provide safety to settlements that request protection. Just like Nick, from the handyman to private detective. If you don't hide your identity, and prove yourself as useful and non threatening, it will only be time before people will at least acknowledged and accept the existence of the Institute.
@@theholypapalspud well someone has to be the bad guy... And based on how institute's real human's think, they already give up on human on surface and think they are the superior one...
According to Shaun, one of his predecessors tried to help the Commonwealth...and it failed miserably, resulting in damage for both sides. Since then, he's taken the approach of simply looking after his own people. To be honest, it's not that surprising. Same thing happens in the real world all the time. Especially with the US.
@@zeveria7206 One thing is different in my scenario which is the Institute gives their help for a logical price and they aren't being saint about it. It's like giving a fair deal, not charity. And being frank that any unwanted violence will be punished means that everyone has been warned and everything can be settle in civilized manner as best as they can UNLESS you don't intend to.
Man I don’t remember this. Is this a mod or just vanilla and I’m drawing a blank? Because I know you’ll see your faction patrolling the roads a lot more like with the railroad setting up checkpoints but do you really see synths or other factions just roaming around diamond city in the vanilla ending?
1st = love it 2nd = weird ( funny seeing a synth making soup) 3rd= idk yet 4th= personal favorite love to see my brothers and sisters in town (Yes I like the brotherhood) Everyone has their own likeings
@@elitwedt Yeah but their liars, They claim to care about the surface but they continuaslly contradict themselves. They continue to release Super Mutants on the surface despite virgil explaining that the experiment never changes. They murdered the leaders of the Commonwealth Provisional Goverment. they continue to kill and replace humans with synths and it's never really explained why the institute needs synths to begin with. Even when you take over as leader nothing changes. the board of directors vote on issues without you. you can headcanon that you become a dictator like figure. but nothing changes in game.
@@elitwedt If you can actually control the Institute and decide which research projects get focused on, then they're the best faction over all. For some reason, they keep producing Gen 3 Synths and use them as manual labor, when Gen 1 Synths are perfectly capable of that without the added ethical concerns of sentience.
I wanted to see a scenario where the four factions cooperate to aim for the restoration of the federation. Each faction has its strengths and weaknesses, making the future uncertain.
@@mehshutup3041more like Union pidors being friend with Confederacy. I mean they got my grand grandfather. Why he wasn’t allowed to keep his pet darkies ? He was a good master, even gave them a bucket to toilet and fed them two breads a week.
@@archdornan8349 Modded, someone took the effort and gave the Enclave an entire storyline. It's really well done and written better than a lot of the main quest. If you're on PC or Xbox the mod is America Rising 2: Legacy of the Enclave.
@@t.vampiro4800 yeah I did just enough of their quests for the Deliverer and abandoned them. I relished killing Deacon and all of those fuckers, made sure to use the Deliverer on em all (except Deacon, he got the extended ripper (◔‿◔))
Bro even if you like what the faction does, they still suck. Like, I believe Gen 3 synths are people (not humans tho) & deserve to be treated morally & with rights, but I find it hard to like the railroad because they make such stupid decisions, have such a garbage network, & half the time they hurt the synths more than they help them.
I'm pretty excited whenever I head into diamond City on my BoS ending, since I did a quest that involved Malcom Latimer .. or something... and I didn't pay him to make the Triggermen stop attacking me in Diamond City, so the BoS just ruins them. Even though a Scribe occasionally dies, lol.
After the Bunker Hill battle you can talk to Kessler and she hands over control of the workbench to you since she saw you at the battle alongside whatever factions were there and realizes at least one of those factions was affiliated with you.
You know what I want in the base game more dialogue for the NPCs like (I’m using the BOS in this example) player:hey squire. Squire: merchant x has good deals.
I do believe that Minutemen are the best but also the most logical ending. BoS is just a weird obsession of Bethesda, they can't do shit and are just a technologically obsessed cult. The Railroad is a very narrowminded group with no course beyond saving synths. Institue are cartoonishly evil and will most likely collapse at some point.
I can’t wait to have my minutemen victory… with the mods I have my minutemen arnt peasants… I can expect them to spawn in with armour and uniforms that turn them from militia to military…
As acting Director of the Institute, Our Gen 1s will provide free soup and packaged food supplement to all impoverished wastelanders who need their daily dietary requirements fulfilled 😉
It’s kinda illusion breaking to see that the people are okay with the player sided with the institute as if the entire game they’re fearful of it, would be cool if dc became hostile to you
I remember trying this but my game bugged on the brotherhood ending and i got really salty about it. There was a mission that had you hop on a vertibird to fight the Institute and before you got on it, a warning would appear telling you it would put you on bad terms with the Institute. Everytime I headed inside my game would immediately crash...
Feels like they could've fleshed out the aftermath of the final quest better. Maybe with you in charge of the Institute and both their major threats gone you could order them to send Coursers and synths out to destroy raiders and super mutants.
