Still the most satisfying vicious move to land in the game. But with it's slow startup, it's best used to end combos / punish dodges / catch people off guard :) and with the new changes to wall splats and damage scaling it's up there again for damage.

1:00 "Why do i keep doing that". Because you trust the ledge, and you really, really shouldn't. you've probably noticed how you can run a bit off of a ledge and THEN jump. Thats why, you're not quite falling, and so you are running, which means attacking does a dropkick instead of an elbow drop. Instead, just use the extra little bit of stamina to jump, or wait a bit before elbow dropping. In the lava dome this detail is really helpful btw, since you can jump straight from the middle platform to the ledge-up on the outer ring without dealing with the whole grabbing the wall, sliding a bit down, then climbing a bit to get to the ledge and THEN getting up. its helpful in other places too of course, but thats the one I use most often quick edit: its also useful at 1:40. a ledgejump (as i just now decided to call it) will make that gap, which is what the person in front of you did I think. if not, then a ledge jump means you land on the platform itself, without needing to climb up

More pressure for the opponent. If you lob it they have to hold block longer which means you can pressure them out with correct timing.

ANNOYING PROBLEM NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT!!!! In duos notice when your teammate is doing a basic 3 hit strike combo and the enemy is holding block, you will not pull off any grabs during this time. I have had multiple occasions where my teammate was punching, I come in for a vicious grab while the enemy is CLEARLY blocking!!!! AND you get a broken glass noise que, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!! The sound lets you know something should have happened, but nothing does. IDK man seems like the devs don't want me to be great man. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

yes definitely i’ve noticed this too but i think there is a massive balance with that to not being able to attack while your teammate is already going for strikes because it would be totally unfair and inevitable. we also have things like players stacking over one downed player making it just as unfair.

It's a Dy-sync on the server side. I've seen it happen quite too often. It doesn't even have to be a Vicious, it can be high stamina moves like Spin-Kick into my teammates chair, but even in the block, they seem to buffer a dodge-roll but i hear the Shield Break sound. Glad I'm not going crazy 💀

@Allan Grundy ii Respectfully, in a 2 Versus 1 Situation, it's an advantage of the situation. Given how fast you res and.how aggresive people guard down bodies, a Solo in the Final Circle of a Duo is normal. If I get teamed on, oh well, it's not their fault my teammate died, they're just capitalizing.

NON-PROBLEM THAT THE DEVS DIRECTLY ADDRESSED! Lol but nah it's a block stun mechanic they implemented to prevent some of the degen setups like the one you described. You can't grab someone who's being block stunned. There's an animation for it--thier palms will be open when stunned and closed when not. Edit: spelling
