It's a very good thing to be so open about inspiration like that, especially when it's so competitive! There are enough people in this world that would agree you accomplished what you say you set out to do in your own right Mr. Tatler! I look forward to seeing DH in Scotland again some time soon!
The commercial success of Metallica is really where that songs fans come from. Brian could walk up to 100 Americans in the 80s and ask where they heard the song. I never saw Diamond Head in magazines or Guitar World. It was way more Metallica. Yes they gave credit but I don't think anyone ran out and bought a DH album because of it. I am glad you gave it to the world because it is a very great song and I love to play it on guitar!

I can't believe he said Taylor Swift, probably just a joke, ı'm just the opposite way and ı'll never change, ı don't believe in popular culture,popular music,balloons and ı don't think all those 400 plus N.W.O.B.H.M. bands were all in compatition,ı surely ı know that there are so many underground N.W.O.B.H.M bands,ı don't believe in the the so called allagedly 'success' term either, ı think the most successfull band are the most unknown, and the most underground non-commercial bands in my opinion, we're the real champions, not the band Queen or Led Zeppelin or you guys.
