I'm a funeral director and I recently took care of a family who were HUGE Rob Zombie fans. The husband (deceased) and wife met at a Zombie concert actually. So during the final procession to the cemetery I had the bright idea to absolutely BLAST Rob Zombie from the hearse. I cleared it with the family and pastor and everyone was on board. I can tell you there definitely some people who were kind of... shocked... and other people who actually stopped, smiled, and gave us the thumbs up. It was quite the experience and the family LOVED it. Yes I would do it again in a heartbeat if it helped a family with their grief. I'm not your "normal" funeral director. Fight me.
@@majordirtymcnasty Yep. Dragula, Living Dead Girl, and Superbeast. Black, Silver, and chrome hearse with the back windows down with speakers in back. The law enforcement escorts we got to the cemetery gave us a thumbs up when they heard us through the intersections. Pretty memorable if you ask me. Some of the public asked a few questions and after I explained the family connection everyone was cool about it. Edit - oh and Feel So Numb
Yes I've been hooked on Rob Zombie ever since I moved down here to S.C. from NY the last week of June of '99...yes here in Georgetown S.C. I'm behind the times I just wish I could go buy albums and CDs again there's NOTHING here!!! The ONLY way to hear about Rob Zombie or any other metal band I love I HAVE to look it up!!! But yyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeesssssss Totally agree..LONG LIVE OUR Boogie Man 🤘🤘🤘🤘✌️🖤🤘🤘🤘🤘
Rob is the nicest coolest-most down-to-earth motherfuckin hardest &bestpunkrocker, I have ever met! He took pics with me at OzFest in clarkston mi early 2000s saw him again for sinister urge in Grand Rapids ❤you Rob
Why J5 leave? Or is he on hiatus? Pays more? Just dead radio silence? In '92 a 14 yr old me found White Zombie opening for Anthrax. Whoa. We old now!! Lol
Agree. I'm going on 38 (how time flies) this is probably Zombie's best album since Hellbilly Deluxe I. King Freak is the king of this great album for me. John 5 shreds the guitar riffs (no pun intended) and Rob's voice has not failed him, the lyrics are on point too. Definitely felt the nostalgic surge others did.
Hellbilly yeah. King Freak carve an X into your head King Freak dripping deeper in the red King Freak gathering sharks in the shallows King Freak elevator to the gallows
Rob zombie should do another horror movie , here are some ideas i had , he should remake killer clowns from outer space , or remake the town that dredded sundown , or remake pumpkin head but do it how he made the micheal myers halloween films robs style of re making a horror film was just wonderful so give him the chance to remake one of the ones i thought of , im just a horror fan lol
I always went watch white zombie at Kalamazoo wings stadium ....But never Rob Zombie ever came back when he went solo...why is that? I love your concerts! I hope you will do a show back in Kalamazoo Michigan soon 😊
I am not sure if anyone else caught it but on the song Howling Man he talks about going out in the night and hunting ❤anna glow sheeeeeee❤ LOVE❤Skinwalker hunts ❤
Ameican Music to Strip By was the second cd I ever bought. The first was Nirvana's From the Muddy Banks of the Wishka. Thanks for all the great tunes Mr. Zombie!
Mr Zombie. Please try and find time to make more movies. Phenomenal directing - such attention to detail (the mark of a genius) - no wonder QT respects you. House and Rejects are my favorites but I'm also crazy about Salem (what a unique and original vibe man). I didn't want that movie to end. 31 was also fun - well *all* your movies are fun aren't they (in a fucked up sort of way). I love how in the final scene of Rejects Captain Spalding looks at Baby with such sadness - he knows it's the end of the line. Sheri was perfect as Baby - I can't imagine anyone else pulling that role off and maintaining the balance required for it all to work. They just don't make movies like this anymore. By the way check out the director S. Cragig. Zhaler and also a British gem called The Witch (I know you'll love that movie). Peace from the UK (or what is left of it). 🤘
Послушал. Как будто лет на 25 назад откинуло. Тематика,- такая же, звук, - на высоте. Можно сказать только спасибо. Робу желаю здоровья и долголетия. Пусть и дальше радует нас своими пластинками и фильмами.
White Zombie SLAYER DANZIG MORBID ANGEL AND DEICIDE HELPED ME MAKE SENSE Of the what the #YOUTHPASTORS AND CHURCHIES AT SLO CHURCH IF NADZ HAD filled my head with. Once it was clear to me. I went the opposite direction. With a 2 years stint of atheism in my mind teens.~Other THAN THAT..ITS been #HAILSATANALLYHEWAYYY!!!
Hell yeah!! I've been listening to your music since H.S. 🤘 love you, Rob Zombie. Also my mother loves your music. Funny, we were just rocking out to Dragula and Living Dead girl yesterday. 🤣
Rob Zombie has focused on the groove as much of the Industrial aspect of his music. And it's the combination of the 2 that makes what he does stand out. This really is a very good album. The Zombie still has it!
Yyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeesssssss me to!!! I'm gonna miss John5 but I did like Riggs to in the past I cannot wait to see and hear what they have planned in the future👻🤘🤘🤘🤘✌️🖤🤘🤘🤘🤘👻
not even close Rob, you need a real guitarist on this album. The Guitar work is really kinda annoying guys....This is not "La sexorcisto" enough for me
Up until this day the only rob zombie song i listened was dragula, out of nowhere i decided to look up more of his work, this was the first thing that came up, safe to say, im hooked
